Alabama vs. Arkansas Prediction & Pick
The pick: Arkansas
Arkansas has been great this year, but they’ve dealt with a few injuries that have held them back from meeting their full potential. Ricky Council IV has been the Razorbacks’ leading scorer this year. He’s been the go-to scorer for Arkansas this year, especially with some of the injuries they’ve dealt with. Anthony Black has stepped up a lot with Nick Smith Jr. being out. He’s the second-leading scorer for Arkansas and also leads the team in assists and rebounds. Trevon Brazile is also out for the rest of the year, but Davonte Davis has stepped up and so has Makhi Mitchell, who leads the team in rebounds and blocks. As a team, they are very athletic and have been very good on defense mostly this year.
On the other side, Alabama has been one of the best teams in all of college basketball this season. Brandon Miller is making the case to be college basketball’s best player and to be an NBA lottery pick too. He leads the team in 19 points and is one of the higher-scoring players in all of college basketball. Mark Sears has been a steady and experienced point guard for the Crimson Tide too. He is the second-leading scorer and leads the team in steals too. Noah Clowney and Jaden Bradley are right behind these two in production, with Clowney leading the team in rebounds and Bradley leading in assists.
As a team, the Crimson Tide are very good offensively and their height and athleticism has helped them lead the country in rebounding at 46 per game. This game is going to be close throughout and come down to the wire. Take Arkansas here because they’re the home team and should be able to edge out Alabama in a really close game.

Brandon Miller vs Makhi Mitchell
Brandon Miller has been incredible for the Crimson Tide this year. He averages 19 points, 2 assists, and 9 rebounds on the year. He’ll be matched up against Makhi Mitchell, who averages 8 points, 1 assist, and 6 rebounds on the year. This should be an interesting matchup. Anthony Black vs Mark Sears
Anthony Black has been great as a freshman point guard for Arkansas. He averages 13 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds on the year. His matchup for some of the game will be Mark Sears, who averages 15 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds for the season. When these two matchup it will be interesting. Black is very talented, but just a freshman, while Sears is shorter, but has more experience. Point guard is such an important position, so this matchup will be huge in deciding who wins this game.
