The (10-2) Ravens are close to clinching their division. If they win this game and the Steelers lose, they win the AFC North. With just a win, they clinch playoff berth with at worst a wildcard spot. With recent wins over three other current 10-2 teams, their resume looks really good for a possible number 1 spot in the AFC. They now hold the tiebreaker over the Patriots, so winning out would give them the number 1 seed, but they just need to match what the Patriots do, but they face yet another tough matchup this week against the Bills. The (9-3) Bills now sit one game behind the Patriots for the AFC East. They have a two-game lead for the first wild card sport as of this week, but with four games remaining, it is important to keep winning. The possibility of winning the division and even a number 1 seed in the AFC would only add to the need to win. Winning this game would give them an edge on the Ravens in seeding if they were to pass the Patriots. They still have another game against the Patriots too, so the road to the number 1 seed is in their own hands. Baltimore Ravens Analysis
The Ravens had a huge win against the 49ers last week. A game-winning field goal by Justin Tucker was able to spring them forward and set them up for a possible number 1 seed moving into the playoffs. They have their destiny in their own hands which is beneficial for them. They were able to get past the 49ers mainly because of Lamar Jackson’s rushing ability. The 49ers have the best pass defense in the NFL, and Jackson made proper adjustments and ran for 101 yards and a touchdown. Only Mark Andrews had much of a game on the receiving end because of Lamar’s success on the ground.
The Ravens should look to give a similar gameplan against the Bills this week. The Bills hold the third-best pass defense in the league. There will likely not be much success again through the air, so Lamar’s ability to run will come in handy. Getting both Jackson and Mark Ingram going will be pivotal in the success of the Ravens this week. Defensively, they need to shut down Josh Allen. He is similar to Jackson in how he can both throw and run. Containing him will greatly help their efforts in limiting the Bills’ offense.

Buffalo Bills Analysis
The Bills found success on both fronts of their offense against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Cole Beasley led the team in receiving with 110 yards and a touchdown. John Brown and the Bills were able to pull off a trick play in which he threw for a touchdown. Devin Singletary was able to pull off a 100+ total yard game with 63 yards on the ground and 38 yards with a touchdown through the air. Josh Allen had both a passing touchdown and rushing touchdown to show off his dual-threat ability. All-in-all, the Bills found success all over the field.
The Ravens have a solid defense all around against the pass and run, so it will take a mix of both to throw them off. Having a balance will keep them guessing. Establishing the run game first will open up passing lanes off play action. Devin Singletary has begun to rise as a valuable part of the offense, so getting him going early will help set up players like Cole Beasley and John Brown for plays over the middle. Their focus defensively should be all on Lamar Jackson. Keeping him in the pocket should be their number one concern because if he gets out, he can be deadly.

Daily Fantasy: Lamar For MVP
Lamar Jackson’s fourth 100-yard rushing game is continuing to solidify him as the number one candidate for MVP this season. As the Bills have one of the best pass coverages in the NFL, it will be important for the Ravens to establish their run game. While they do have Mark Ingram, the hot streak of Lamar Jackson makes him very appealing in this matchup. In the past three games, his lowest rushing yards in a game was 79 yards. The floor that he is able to provide is extremely high, and I’d expect him to continue to huge performances going into this week against the Bills.
