Boston Celtics at Indiana Pacers Preview
With less than a handful of NBA games remaining, it appears the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers are set for a first-round playoff matchup. All that’s left to be decided is which team will have home court advantage. Tonight, NBA fans will get an early preview of that series as the Pacers host the Celtics at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Boston is 47-32 and tied for fourth in the Eastern Conference with the Pacers. They are on a two-game winning streak and are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Pacers, also 47-32, have also won their last two games, but are 3-7 in their last 10 games.
The Pacers and Celtics just met last week on March 29, with the Celtics coming away with the 114-112 win. Kyrie Irving scored 30 points for the Celtics, while Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 27 points.

Boston Celtics Starting Lineup
The Boston Celtics have been working on trying to find some consistency as they head to the NBA playoffs. They have now won four of their past five games as they continue to get on the same page.
“I just think that this time of the year, and everything that’s at stake, and the playoffs nearing, I think our group is playing with much better focus. That’s encouraging,” Celtics big man Al Horford said.
The Celtics’ last win came on Wednesday night with a 112-102 win over the Miami Heat. The Celtics used a pair of runs in the second and fourth quarters to separate themselves and get the win. Gordon Hayward is starting to find his rhythm and led the Celtics in scoring off the bench with 25 points and eight rebounds.
Kyrie Irving scored 23 points, Al Harford added 21, and Jayson Tatum finished with 16 points in the win. After tonight’s game, the Celtics will have two more games as they face the Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards to close out the regular season.
Indiana Pacers Starting Lineup
The Indiana Pacers had been struggling to close out the season until they swept the Detroit Pistons in a home-and-home series on Monday and Wednesday night. The Pacers seem ready to hopefully extend their win streak is they are home tonight.
“We’re happy that it’s at home,” Pacers guard Cory Joseph said. “It’s going to be a playoff atmosphere. I think that’ll help us.”
The most recent game of their series with the Pistons ended Wednesday night with a 108-89 win. The Pacers were dominant in the win and outscored the Pistons in every quarter.
Joseph, who played for Darren Collison, who is day-to-day, finished with just six points, but he took control of the offense with 12 assists. Thaddeus Young led Indiana with 21 points and eight rebounds, and Bojan Bogdanovic and Myles Turner scored 17 each.
The Pacers also got some help off the bench. Domantas Sabonis finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Doug McDermott scored 14.
Boston Celtics at Indiana Pacers Betting Odds
The Indiana Pacers are one-point favorites to win tonight’s game at home. The Pacers are 29-10 at home and are 34-12 as the favorite. The Celtics are 19-20 on the road and 6-10 as the underdog.
The over/under is 214 points and the Celtics are -120 on the moneyline.
