Nets Analysis
The Nets went into the All-Star break winning their last two games. Both victories were impressive as they beat the Indiana Pacers 106-105 and the Toronto Raptors 101-91.
In the win over the Raptors, the Nets snapped Toronto’s 15-game winning streak. Brooklyn was led by Caris LeVert who finished with 20 points and seven rebounds while shooting 10-20 from the field.
The Nets also saw Joe Harris have a productive game scoring 19 points on 7-12 shooting. Harris and LeVery were two of five players who scored in double-figures in the win.
Unfortunately, though the Nets did receive some bad news over the break as it was reported by Marc Stein that Kyrie Irving’s shoulder is continuing to bother him. Irving is scheduled to see a specialist soon.
Brooklyn comes into Thursday with the NBA’s No. 22 offense and No. 9 defense. The Nets have a net rating of -0.3 which is 14th in the league.

76ers Analysis
The 76ers went into the All-Star break having won three straight games. The winning streak came after Philly had lost four straight. All three wins were at home while the four losses came on the road.
The Sixers won their third straight when they defeated the LA Clippers 110-103. In the win, Philadelphia got a big-time performance from Ben Simmons as he finished with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.
In addition to the triple-double, he also was big on defense as he helped slow down a strong Clippers offense.
The 76ers also saw Joel Embiid have a strong game as he finished with 26 points and nine rebounds.
Philadelphia is 25-2 this season at home but 9-19 on the road.
The Sixers have the No. 20 offense in the NBA and No. 4 defense. Their net rating, 2.3, is 12th in the league.

Key Player Matchups
Spencer Dinwiddie vs. Ben Simmons
The matchup at point guard loses a little luster as Kyrie Irving is out but Spencer Dinwiddie has been outstanding this year. The Nets are 8.9 points better with Dinwiddie on the court according to Cleaning the Glass. For comparison, the Nets are only 0.3 points better with Irving on the floor.
Dinwiddie will have his hands full trying to score on Ben Simmons who has been lockdown as of late. Simmons was a big part of Paul George’s 3-15 shooting performance in the 76ers win over LA. Simmons has had a triple-double in two straight games.
Joel Embiid vs. Jarrett Allen
The other key matchup will be between Joel Embiid and Jarrett Allen. Both are strong defensive anchors and in Embiid’s case can be the main guy on offense.
Embiid has not played vs Brooklyn this season as he was inactive for the first three meetings. Allen, on the other hand, is averaging 12.7 points and 10.3 rebounds vs Philadelphia this season.
Daily Fantasy
The top two options for each team in daily fantasy for the Nets/76ers game are Joel Embiid and Spencer Dinwiddie. Embiid is projected to score 48.9 points and costs $9.6k while Dinwiddie is available for $6.9k and has a projection of 32.3 points.
If looking for a cheaper option consider either Tobias Harris or Joe Harris.
