Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls Player Prop Picks

Which players will dominate this Bucks vs. Bulls game?

SGP (-155 DK, 3u): Malik Beasley 3+ 3PM & Nikola Vucevic 1+ 3PM

Arguably no weakness has been more consistent across the past two seasons than Chicago’s horrific three-point defense. The Bulls surrendered the third most open plus wide open three-point attempts per game last year, and they are up to the second most so far this season (via NBA.com). Shooting guards in particular abuse them, as Chicago lets up the most made threes per game to them.

Malik Beasley owns a 45.3 3PT% on a whopping 6.6 attempts per game from deep. However, his volume spikes against favorable matchups. Beasley has played 14 games this season against teams in the top ten for most allowed open plus wide open three-point attempts per game. Across those matchups, he averaged 7.9 three-point attempts and made at least three threes in 11 games (78%). Additionally, Beasley canned at least four threes in 9 of 14 games (64%).

That sample includes three contests against the Bulls, where he produced the following stats from deep:

  • 3/6 (November 13th)
  • 5/15 (November 30th)
  • 5/8 (December 11th)

The veteran sharpshooter enters this contest on a roll too; he hit his leg in 10 of 12 February games (83%).

Meanwhile, opposing centers average the second most made threes per game against the Bucks. Brook Lopez loves to play a deep drop when defending ball screens, which leaves the pick-and-pop wide open. Although Nikola Vucevic (27 3PT%) has struggled mightily with efficiency, he is averaging 4.2 three-point attempts per game – that’s plenty of volume for a hit.

Vucevic has made a three-pointer in all 12 games against Milwaukee since joining Chicago, so the matchup history is superb. In fact, he notched two made threes in 9 of those 12 games (75%). It speaks to how deadly the pick-and-pop is against the Bucks.

Like Beasley, Vucevic has also dominated his leg recently; he hit a three in 9 of 10 February games (90%).

Overall, this same game parlay needs to cash at least 61 percent of the time for the bet to be profitable in the long run based on the odds.

Damian Lillard First Field Goal 3PT (+1500 BMGM, 0.4u) & Malik Beasley First Basket 3PT (+1300 FD, 0.4u)

Lopez is favored to win the tip, so Milwaukee should secure the first shot of the game. Given Chicago’s ghastly outside defense, it’s likely that a three-point shooter opens up the contest. This has been a consistent theme throughout the season, and the Bucks should be no exception. Lillard and Beasley easily represent Milwaukee’s top shooters, so they get the nod here.
