Chicago Bears Vs. Los Angeles Chargers Same Game Parlay (10/29/23)

On Sunday Night Football, we’ll watch the Chicago Bears face the Los Angeles Chargers where the Chargers are currently 8.5-point home favorites. In this article, find a Bears Vs. Chargers Same Game Parlay featuring Justin Herbert, Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler and D.J. Moore.

Chicago Bears Vs. Los Angeles Chargers Same Game Parlay Picks

The Bears are coming off an impressive 30-12 win over the Raiders last week, but they enter this game as sizable road underdogs. Meanwhile, the Chargers are in desperate need of a bounceback after losing two straight games to the Cowboys and Chiefs.

Be sure to shop around for the best odds for your Same Game Parlay as the odds can vary across different sportsbooks. I’m building this SGP on BetMGM. Let’s get to work.

Leg 1: Justin Herbert 250+ Passing Yards

I’ve been disappointed with Justin Herbert’s output recently, but it’s tough to imagine a much better bounceback spot than against the Bears’ secondary. Chicago ranks 30th in pass defense DVOA and 29th in EPA, making it one of the worst in the NFL at defending the pass.

Whether it’s been due to his injury or simply facing two of the best defenses in the NFL over the last two weeks in the Cowboys and Chiefs, Herbert has been under 260 passing yards in three straight games. However, this matchup provides an opportunity to buy low on one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

Leg 2: Keenan Allen 70+ Receiving Yards

If Herbert is enjoying a big bounceback performance in primetime, it will likely be coupled with a standout performance from Keenan Allen. The Chargers’ wide receiver remains one of the best in the NFL even at 31 years old, but he’s been a little quieter lately after averaging 134 receiving yards through the first three weeks of the season.

Allen is one of the best route runners in the NFL, making cornerbacks look silly in coverage, and this is a very young Chicago secondary relying on inexperienced players. I expect a big showing from Allen who has enjoyed a 26.4% target share since Mike Williams suffered his season-ending injury.

Leg 3: Austin Ekeler Anytime Touchdown

Typically one of the most reliable touchdown scorer bets in the NFL, Austin Ekeler hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 1. He missed some games recently and hasn’t scored in either of his two games back against the Cowboys and Chiefs.

However, that shouldn’t last long for a player who finished the last two seasons with a combined 25 touchdowns. The Chargers have an implied team total of 27.5 points in this game, which is one of the highest of Week 8, so let’s bet on one of their preeminent players finding the end zone.

Leg 4: D.J. Moore 50+ Receiving Yards

We have to round out this SGP with a Bears player, and we’ll go with their star wide receiver D.J. Moore. I prefer Moore’s receptions prop in this game as I’m not particularly confident in the Bears opening up the offense downfield, but they might have to if they end up playing from behind.

Regardless, Moore should remain heavily involved in the offense with Tyson Bagent under center as he did last week with a 31% target share and a 58.7% air yard share. Look for Moore to produce against a Chargers defense that ranks 31st against the pass by EPA this season.

Same Game Parlay Card For Chicago Bears Vs. Los Angeles Chargers

  • Justin Herbert 250+ Passing Yards
  • Keenan Allen 70+ Receiving Yards
  • Austin Ekeler Anytime Touchdown
  • D.J. Moore 50+ Receiving Yards
