Denver Nuggets Starting Lineup
Denver had a five-game winning streak snapped by the Houston Rockets on Monday, but they bounced back with a 103-99 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday.
Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Jamal Murray added 18 points and six assists.
Just when things were starting to look good for the Nuggets’ injury situation, Gary Harris, who just recently returned, is questionable for tonight’s game with left hamstring tightness, and Will Barton is still sidelined.
Paul Millsap continues to see more minutes. He played for 30 minutes on Tuesday and finished with 12 points and nine rebounds.
LA Clippers Starting Lineup
The Los Angeles Clippers continue to be one of the surprise stories of the 2018-19 NBA season. Without a true superstar player (or four), they’ve managed to put themselves in the mix for a top spot in the Western Conference. The Clippers have done that by balanced scoring and by scoring a lot. For a team without a superstar, they have a rather deep bench, with Montrezl Harrell, Lou Williams, and Patrick Beverley.
Suddenly the Clippers look to be in better shape after the Blake Griffin trade and even after losing DeAndre Jordan in free agency.
Tobias Harris has been a big reason for that. He’s been the Clippers’ most consistent scorer, and Danilo Gallinari can fill it up quick.
In their three-game win streak, the Clippers are outscoring opponents by an average of 13 points, and they scored 128 against Charlotte on Tuesday night.
Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Clippers Betting Odds
The Nuggets are -6 point favorites to win tonight’s game at home. The over/under is 226 points and there has been minimal movement on the moneyline. Currently, Denver is -240 and the Clippers are +200.
The Nuggets are 87-55 at home and 90-46 as the favorite. Los Angeles is 78-70 away from the Staples Center and they are 36-72 as the underdog.
