Miami Dolphins Vs. Kansas City Chiefs Player Prop Picks

After hosting its first NFL game ever last season, Germany welcomes two of the top teams in the NFL this week as Tua Tagovailoa’s Dolphins face Patrick Mahomes’s Chiefs. This game features tons of great talent on both sides of the ball, making for some exciting player prop opportunities.

Of course, betting on Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce will be the most obvious way to go, but I went with some more under the radar players in this article. As always, use the player prop search tool above to make sure you’re getting the best number on whichever wager you select. Let’s get to work.

Raheem Mostert Over 52.5 Rushing Yards (-115 BetMGM)

Raheem Mostert had some injury concerns entering last week, but he still produced as the team’s lead running back. He’s now off the injury report and ready to attack against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL. The Chiefs rank 31st in run defense EPA and are now missing star linebacker Nick Bolton.

Kansas City has allowed the ninth-highest explosive rush rate this season, which is music to the ears of Mostert, one of the league’s fastest backs who ranks seventh in explosive rush rate. This line has been on the move throughout the week, and I’d play it up to 59.5. I’d also consider ladder plays on Mostert’s yardage.

Rashee Rice Over 45.5 Receiving Yards (-115 BetMGM)

While Travis Kelce remains the top weapon in the Chiefs’ offense, rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice has continued to see his role grow. His targets don’t typically come deep downfield with a 6.1-yard aDOT, but he averages 8.3 yards after the catch per reception, which leads all qualified receivers.

This week, Rice faces a Dolphins secondary that has allowed the ninth-most yards after the catch and has the fifth-most missed tackles in the NFL. Rice has been over this receiving yardage line in three straight games with an average of 62.6 yards in those games. Let’s bet on him to make it 4/4.

Justin Watson Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel)

While Rashee Rice is the Chiefs’ short area slot receiver, Justin Watson is the team’s field stretcher with 21.8 yards per reception, the highest rate in the NFL. With his receiving line here at 18.5 yards, you’re essentially betting on him to have at least one catch in this game, and I believe he will.

Watson has at least one catch in six of seven games this year and has cleared thus number in five. The sportsbooks are expecting a fairly high-scoring game here with a total set at 50.5, and in that type of game environment, Watson’s role will be important to open things up for the rest of the offense.
