Golden State Warriors Starting Lineup
While the Golden State Warriors lost an overtime heartbreaker at home to the Houston Rockets, they bounced back on Saturday with a 127-123 over the Sacramento Kings.
Stephen Curry had a monster game with 42 points, and Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson had 29 and 20 apiece. It was Curry’s third consecutive game with 30-plus points.
At the halfway point of the season, the Warriors are currently on pace for a 54-win season, which for most teams would be a goal, but seems a bit low for the three-time defending champions.
Shawn Livingston is out for tonight’s game, and although DeMarcus Cousins has been a full participant at practice, there is still no timetable for his return.
New York Knicks Starting Lineup
|PG||Dennis Smith Jr.|
It’s an understatement to say that the Knicks are bad. They have won just one of their last 10, with the win coming in a 119-112 game against a struggling Lakers team without LeBron James.
Even at that, it took seven Knicks players scoring in double figures to score the seven-point win. Enes Kanter, who has been benched and has been involved in some political drama, had 16 points and 15 rebounds against the Lakers. Most recently, in the loss against the Trail Blazers, Kanter did well again with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Emmanuel Mudiay has continued to play well since his trade to the Knicks, but it’s clear the Knicks could really use a healthy Kristaps Porzingis.
