The (5-2) Colts came away with a victory in a very high-intensity game against the Broncos last week. After missing an extra point that would have tied the game at 13 all, Jacoby Brissett was able to lead a game-winning drive into field goal position down by 1 where Adam Vinatieri was able to redeem himself with a 51-yard field goal with under a minute remaining. They look to extend their lead in the AFC South in a big game against the Steelers. The (3-4) Steelers are in a tough situation. They beat the Dolphins last Monday night, but they still find themselves two games behind the Ravens in the AFC North. They desperately need a win this week if they want to stay within striking distance. For odds movement and full matchup history, visit the Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers matchup page.

Indianapolis Colts Analysis
The Colts are sitting pretty on top of the division, but the Texans are just a half-game behind. In fact, the entire division is all above or at a .500 record making them the strongest division in the AFC. The Colts will have to continue winning if they want to hold on to their lead since every team is within striking distance. Their last game was not a good sign of things to come as they allowed the Broncos to completely slow down their dynamic offense. Jacoby Brissett didn’t throw for a single touchdown after throwing four the week before. He will need to step up big if they want to beat the Steelers this week.
Marlon Mack will also be a big contributor to a possible Colts’ victory. He is one of the only featured backs remaining in the NFL with no real split in carries. Last week he carried the ball 19 times for 76 yards with a touchdown. That was all the Colts needed from him to beat the Broncos, but he is likely to be needed more against a better Steelers’ team. The Steelers will probably score more than just 13 points, so the combination of Brissett and Mack going off will be crucial in the Colts’ chances of winning.

Pittsburgh Steelers Analysis
The Steelers need to start winning soon if they want a shot at the playoffs. Ben Roethlisberger’s season-ending injury didn’t help, but Mason Rudolph has been able to step up in his place. James Conner left the game last week with a shoulder injury. He could be able to go this week in a limited role, but it is not a good sign for the Steelers who have been plagued with injuries. Back running back, Jaylen Samuels, had knee surgery less than a month ago but has returned to practice. He sat out in their last game though. Conner’s backup last week was Benny Snell Jr. who is now being evaluated for a knee injury. The running back situation for the Steelers is not in good shape leading into this big game.
How will the Steelers pull off a win with so many internal problems? Their defense will have to step up and make it manageable for Rudolph. They can’t expect him to score every drive, so they will need to throw off the Colts’ offense. The Broncos were able to do it relatively well last week. If they can replicate that kind of performance, they should do just fine. The problems will arise on offense with all the injuries at running back. The Steelers’ receiving core is not the greatest ever since Antonio Brown left. JuJu Smith-Schuster has been more of a bust this year than anything which is why it will be up to the defense this week.

Daily Fantasy: Risk It For the Brissett
I don’t see the Steelers standing much of a chance against the Colts this week. Jacoby Brissett will be the main factor for the Colts. Brissett didn’t find the endzone last week and should be hungry to find it this week. With the Colts’ offense at full health, it is difficult to stop them. Brissett has options all over the field with T.Y Hilton, Eric Ebron, Zach Doyle, and Marlon Mack out of the backfield. The Steelers’ defense has allowed the fourth-most touchdowns to tight ends with four, so Brissett should be looking for Ebron and Doyle near the endzone.
