Los Angeles Clippers at Milwaukee Bucks Preview
The Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks are finishing off their seasons strong in preparation for the playoffs with both teams clinching berths and having just seven games to go. Tonight the Clippers will travel to Milwaukee to finish the regular season series against the Bucks.
The Bucks have the league’s best record at 56-19 and are four games ahead of the Toronto Raptors for first place in the Eastern Conference. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games and have won three straight. Even after trading away their best player and making several other trade deadline deals, the Los Angeles Clippers have reason to celebrate after clinching a playoff berth. They’re also one of the hottest teams in the league lately, winning six straight and going 9-1 in their last 10 games. They are tied for fifth in the West with a 45-30 record and are one game ahead of the seventh-place Oklahoma City Thunder.
In the first matchup of the season series, the Clippers won 128-126 at home on November 10. Montrezl Harrell led the Clippers with 26 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo had 27 points and 18 rebounds.

LA Clippers Starting Lineup
The Los Angeles Clippers have done what many thought would be impossible. They never really had a superstar on this team, but the closest they had was Tobias Harris, who they traded midseason. Still, without a superstar and without their best player, the Clippers found a way to stay competitive and earn a spot in the playoffs, probably much to the chagrin of the national media who expected the other Los Angeles team to be in the playoffs instead.
“Hey, ESPN predicted 33 wins. That’s what they said,” Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said. “Charles Barkley 33 wins. Vegas 33 wins, and we’re going to the damn playoffs.”
The Clippers haven’t lost a game since March 12. In their most recent win, a 122-111 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Clippers got off to a blistering start, outscoring Minnesota 42-23 in the first quarter. Danilo Gallinari led the Clippers with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell were studs off the bench again with 20 and 18 points apiece.
Milwaukee Bucks Starting Lineup
The Milwaukee Bucks have already clinched the Central Division, and are likely just two wins away from clinching the East and the number one seed.
The only speedbump for the Bucks recently has been when Giannis was out, but they are a perfect 3-0 since his return as he’s continued to make a case for MVP consideration.
“I really appreciate the fans supporting me and supporting the team,” Giannis said. “Nights like tonight, we try to deliver the fans a win, but as I said in the past, I don’t want to think about (MVP). I just want to come in here and try to win games.”
Giannis was in an MVP battle on Tuesday night against James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Regardless of the stat lines and MVP cases for each, the Bucks came away with the win 108-94, which seems to be most important for the Greek forward. He led the Bucks with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
Eric Bledsoe also had a standout game with 23 points and seven assists in the win.
Los Angeles Clippers at Milwaukee Bucks Betting Odds
The Bucks are nine-point favorites to win tonight’s game at home. The Bucks are an excellent 31-6 at Fiserv Forum and are 49-16 as the favorite. The Clippers are 22-17 on the road and 13-22 as the underdog.
The over/under is 234 points and the Bucks are -450 on the moneyline.
