Tommy Pham was signed by the Reds in late March as a free agent has nine doubles, nine home runs, 26 runs batted in and five stolen bases on the year.  Additionally, he has 90 total bases with a .788 OPS on the in 2022.  Pham is a lifetime .258 hitter with 106 home runs and 326 runs driven in during his nine-year career.

Catcher Tyler Stephenson leads the Reds in hitting with a .305 batting average this campaign.  The 25-year-old backstop has eight doubles, five home runs, 31 runs batted in and an OPS of .829 in 2022 but is currently on the 10-day injured list. 

Tony Gonsolin has been one of the best pitchers in the National League this season with an 8-0 record in 12 starts with a 1.42 ERA.  In 63 1/3 innings, he’ struck out 60 hitters while allowing 10 runs in 2022.

Tony Gonsolin has been excellent for Los Angeles this season with a WHIP of .821 and an earned run average under 1.50; he’s +2200 to win the 2022 Cy Young Award and with the injury to Walker Buehler, who could be out two to three months, he’ll be even more important to the rotation.  The injury of star outfielder Mookie Betts opens the door for former NL MVP Clay Bellinger to step up and deliver the big hit for the Dodgers.  Cincinnati is one of the worst teams in baseball with limited offensive ability, catcher Tyler Stephenson who leads the team with a .305 average is on the 10-day injured list and leaves only Joey Votto, who’s struggling this season with his average/power numbers and Brandon Drury as offensive “threats” for the Reds.  Los Angeles wins this game by over 1.5 runs as the teams combine for under 9.5 on what is supposed to be a warm night in the Queen City.
