Both of these teams are at the edge of playoff territory and need every win they can get to have a chance at making the playoffs. The Steelers are extremely hot, winning their last three games. The Rams have been disappointing this season. After making it to the Super Bowl last year, they have not been able to consistently beat good teams. Now they are third in their division and will likely have to settle for a wild card spot in a very competitive conference. Los Angeles Rams Analysis
The big news for this game is that Brandin Cooks will miss the game. That will not affect the Rams offense too much, as Cooks has been unproductive this year. This just means that Robert Woods and Cooper Jupp will definitely get more targets than usual. Last game, Woods was the top receiver for the Rams, catching 5 balls for 80 yards. The game before this, Kupp was the top receiver, getting 7 receptions for 220 yards and 1 touchdown. Kupp has proven himself to be the top receiver for the Rams. He has had several big games this year. The Steelers rank 13th in fantasy points allowed to receivers, but Kupp should still have a good game, as the Steelers have allowed big games to pass catchers this season. In week 6, Hunter Henry had 8 receptions for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Steelers, so it is very possible for Kupp to do well this game.
The running back situation is interesting as well. Rookie running back Darrell Henderson has seen much more playing time over the last few weeks, as they have been without Malcolm Brown. He may return to action this week, so Henderson may get less carries. Still, Todd Gurley is the lead back for the Rams, and he continues to get goal line carries. Last game, Henderson had more carries and yards than Gurley, but Gurley ended up getting a touchdown. It appears that Gurley is still a decent option at running back, while Henderson is not really a player to start. It will be important to watch how carries are split in the backfield in this game to see which Rams running backs will be viable to start in the coming weeks.

Pittsburgh Steelers Analysis
With Mason Rudolph at quarterback, the Steelers offense has not been extremely productive. From a fantasy football perspective, only the running backs have had great performances recently. Last game, fourth-string running back Trey Edmunds had 12 carries for 73 yards and receiving back Jaylen Samuels had 13 receptions for 73 yards and an additional 10 rushing yards. The Steelers offensive game plan seems to be to rely on their running backs to run and catch the ball. For this game, James Conner is unlikely to play, Benny Snell will not play, and Trey Edmunds is listed as questionable. This means that Jaylen Samuels is the only fully healthy running back on the roster. He will probably catch a lot of balls out of the backfield in this game. Trey Edmunds will probably play, and he will get plenty of carries out of the backfield. However, the Rams rushing defense is pretty good–ranked 8th in rushing yards allowed–so Edmunds may not have much room to run. Samuels is probably the only decent play in the Steelers backfield, and he is a must start in PPR leagues.
While the running backs have been the focal point of the Steelers offense, the Steelers receivers have not been very productive. In the last three games, all of the Steelers receivers have combined for only 25 receptions. The Steelers receivers have not been very reliable in this offense, and they will probably not do well against a Rams team that ranks 12th in fantasy points allowed to receivers.

Daily Fantasy: Cooper Kupp & Jaylen Samuels
Cooper Kupp (DK: $7,300, FD: $8,100) should have a great game against the Rams defense. With Brandin Cooks out, Kupp is in line for a huge workload this week. On the Steelers, Jaylen Samuels (DK: $6,300, FD: $6,200) is a great pick for this week. He will catch a lot of passes as a checkdown option for Mason Rudolph. His low salary makes him a great value pick for this week. Lastly, Todd Gurley (DK: $6,100, FD: $7,200) is a decent pick for this game. He may not have the best game, but his salary is pretty low on DraftKings. He could easily score a touchdown and rush for around 80 yards. He is not a great pick, but he is serviceable.
