Los Angeles Rams vs. Baltimore Ravens Player Prop Picks
On Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams head east to face the Baltimore Ravens in an intriguing matchup. The Ravens are priced as 7-point favorites at the time of writing with an over/under of 40 points. Weather is expected to be a significant factor in this game with wind and rain in the forecast, so keep that in mind when placing player prop wagers. Remember to use the player prop search tool above to make sure you’re getting the best odds on the player props you’re selecting. Let’s get to work.
Kyren Williams Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+135 FanDuel)
While the Ravens have a stout defense on paper led by All Pro linebacker Roquan Smith, they haven’t been as stout against the run lately, ranking 24th in run defense success rate since Week 8. Overall, they’re 4th in run defense DVOA this season, so it’s not a unit I’d be generally looking to attack.
However, I believe this touchdown prop is mispriced for Kyren Williams, who has been a touchdown machine for the Rams. Williams has scored in six of his eight games this season with 2+ touchdowns in four of those six. Even in a tough matchup, I’m not sure Williams should be plus money to score, and FanDuel is even offering +1000 odds on him to score two times. Make sure to shop around as touchdown odds vary significantly at different books.
Gus Edwards Over 36.5 Rushing Yards (-110 BetMGM)
While rookie Keaton Mitchell has emerged as a dynamic change of pace back in Baltimore, Gus Edwards is still the lead back on a down to down basis with 10+ carries in ten of 12 games this season. With that type of workload, Edwards should be in good position to have success against a Rams defense that ranks 21st in run defense DVOA.
Edwards has been over this rushing yardage number in nine of 12 games this season, and while he missed the mark last week, I like the value on this number. The weather in Baltimore should lean to an even more run-heavy approach for the most run-heavy team in the NFL, and that should work to Edwards’s benefit in a plus matchup.
Cooper Kupp Under 45.5 Receiving Yards (-115 DraftKings)
It’s still jarring to see this type of number on a Cooper Kupp receiving yardage prop, but it’s there for good reason as he’s only cleared 45.5 yards in one of his last six games. Puka Nacua has operated as the team’s WR1 in recent weeks, and while improved health for Kupp and Matthew Stafford certainly help, this is a tough matchup.
The Ravens have surrendered just 171.7 passing yards per game, the second-fewest in the NFL, and they have the best pass defense in the NFL by DVOA. With cornerback Marlon Humphrey returning to the lineup this week after missing the team’s last game, it looks to be tough sledding for Kupp whose role in the offense continues to dissipate.
