We didn’t forget about the defense either with our rankings. Also, we have DFS players covered with projections for them as well. Everything you could need to a positive season is here on lineups.
This matchup will be one to watch during week 2. The NFC North is one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL, and this game will be a very close one. Look for this game to be a defensive one, as both teams showcased their dominant defenses in week 1. The Packers held the Bears to 3 points and the Vikings helf the Falcons to two touchdowns, which were both in garbage time after the Vikings were up 28-0 in the fourth quarter. The Packers offense struggled in week 1, which is not too concerning, as they faced the best defense in the NFL. Look for the Packers offense to do slightly better this game, but not too much better, because the Vikings defense has looked very sharp so far. Minnesota Vikings Analysis
The Vikings might be looking at another superbowl run after a disappointing 2018 season. That could be an overreaction, but if a team can comfortably win a game while passing the ball only 10 times, it is a sign of great things to come. Against the Packers this week, the Vikings will definitely have to rely on the passing game more. The Packers allowed only 46 rushing yards against the Bears last week. The front 7 for the Packers looks is very talented, so it will be hard for Dalvin Cook to find much running room.
Defensively, the Vikings look as good as they did in the 2017 campaign, when they ranked 1st in yards allowed and points allowed. With that defense, the Vikings were one game away from the superbowl. The two big differences between the 2019 team and 2017 team is that the Vikings have Kirk Cousins at quarterback and Dalvin Cook is still healthy. If Cook can stay healthy, this team could definitely make it to the superbowl. Also, Kirk Cousins should have a much better season in 2019 and has the potential to produce at a higher level than Case Keenum in 2017. So for the Vikings to have a shot at winning the superbowl, Kirk Cousins needs to show improvement in the Vikings system and Dalvin Cook needs to stay healthy. This game against the Packers is extremely important, as the competition for NFC North champion is fierce.

Green Bay Packers Analysis
The Packers got off to a slow start this season. The offense put up only 10 points in Chicago in the season opener, and they will face a tough task again this week against the Vikings defense. Last week, the Vikings shut down a Falcons offense that is expected to do very well this season. The Packers have to gameplan around defensive playmakers if they want to score a respectable number of points.
There are two big questions for the Packers this game: can the offense improve this week and will the defense be as effective as last week? These questions are nearly impossible to answer after one game of football. The passing attack should be much better this week against the Vikings. Last week, Aaron Rodgers still had a decent game with 202 passing yards and a touchdown. Those numbers are not great, but they are good considering that he was up against the Bears’ defense.
Honestly, this game is very difficult to predict. The Packers could become a team that relies on their defense to win games for them from now on. If the defense continues to perform well, the Packers will be nearly unstoppable. All the pieces are there. They have a good running back, a top-10 receiver, a good offensive line, and a future hall of fame quarterback. The only thing that could stop these 2019 Packers is the fact that they are in a division with two other NFC title contenders and the Lions, who are not bad. Every game in the NFC North will be very important this season, as this matchup could have a big effect on who makes the playoffs come January.

Daily Fantasy: Target Vikings Receivers
Last week, Bears WR1 Allen Robinson had 7 receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown, so we know that the Packers’ secondary is not immune to talented receivers. The Vikings have two talented receivers in Adam Thielen (DK: $7,100, FD: $7,300) and Stefon Diggs (DK: $6,300, FD: $6,900). Look for them to have solid games against the Packers. They may not break the scoreboard, but they will have good games. Both receivers did not have a good performance against the Falcons, but that is only because the Vikings threw the ball only 10 times. They relied on their rushing attack last week to win, so they did not have to use their passing offense much. This week, Dalvin Cook (DK: $7,200, FD: $7,900) will not be able to run over the Packers defense, and the Vikings will be forced to rely on the passing attack. He is highly overvalued this week for daily fantasy. Another player who is overvalued is Davante Adams (DK: $7,700, FD: $8,200) for the Packers. He might have a decent game, but is nowhere near worth his value on DraftKings and FanDuel.
