Marwin Gonzalez

Marwin Gonzalez – 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF – 39% Owned

Marwin Gonzalez is in the 76th percentile in exit velocity, and 82nd in hard-contact. His last week has been excellent with multiple multi-hit games. He still offers up some fill in value given the position eligibility, and is in the mix of one of the best offenses in baseball. He has 14 HR on the season, and an average that is now at .270. Grab this utility man if you are in any sort of need.

colorado rockiesRyan McMahon – 1B, 2B, 3B – 39% Owned

The 24-year-old infielder is starting to come around, and that power has been there this year. He has a .474 slugging percentage, and .820 OPS. His hard-contact and exit velocity are near the 90th percentile. He has 17 HR and the Rockies need his bat right now. It also doesn’t help he has a hefty schedule in Coors and is in a prime batting order spot. McMahon will give away some bats to left-handed pitching, but for the most part he has been a regular guy in the order.

cleveland indiansOscar Mercardo – OF – 32% Owned

Oscar Mercado has been a big part of the Indians push for the playoffs. He is known more for his speed, and less for his hitting even though he has a .279 average and nine home runs. He also has nine stolen bases, and is finally getting some support around him where he can be driven in. He has 51 runs on the season, and is hitting up top in a hot Cleveland lineup. If you are in need of some outfield help, Mercado is the way to go. Although some outfield names will be returning from the IL.

seattle marinersMarco Gonzales – SP – 48% Owned

Marco Gonzales is a solid arm who limits damage and in the right spots can muster up some strikeouts. His WHIP and ERA are not appealing when looking overall, but he eats innings, and his blowup starts have crushed him. For the most part he sits around the sixth inning mark with plenty of strikeout upside. He has a good run in for the fantasy playoffs with some plus opponents.

Dinelson LametDinelson Lamet – SP – 34% Owned

Going to lock in Dinelson Lamet again here, as he is coming off another strong start where he got the win and racked up six strikeouts against the Phillies. His strikeouts have been 6, 7, 12, 5, and 6 over his last five starts. He has two wins and the rest no decisions in those starts. He needs to be owned more down the stretch, even with a home matchup against Boston coming up. Lamet is a big strikeout arm who is starting to find his groove and just needs to avoid the one bad inning.
