Cleveland Indians (7-3) @ Detroit Tigers (7-4)

Starting Pitchers: Trevor Bauer (R) vs. Matt Boyd (L)

  • Trevor Bauer is off to a great start again this season, and gets a Yankees team with limited power and production against right-handed pitching.
  • Cleveland come in as just -126 favorites, and public money is heavy on Cleveland over 65%.
  • The under has hit in the last three starts for Bauer vs. Detroit. He has racked up double-digit strikeouts in each start.
  • Detroit are 5-4 as underdogs this season.

Tampa Bay Rays (9-3) @ Chicago White Sox (3-7)

Starting Pitchers: Tyler Glasnow (R) vs. Reynaldo Lopez (R)

  • The Rays come in as big road favorites, sitting at -157. There is an 8.5 total set, which the public is betting over 70% of the time.
  • Tampa Bay is 9-3 ATS this season, and are 6-2 as favorites.
  • Tyler Glasnow has pitched well, striking out ten, and allowing just one earned run in two 2019 starts so far.

Atlanta Braves (6-4) @ Colorado Rockies (3-8)

Starting Pitchers: Kevin Gausman (R) vs. Jeff Hoffman (R)

  • This game has been PPD.

San Diego Padres (7-5) @ San Francisco Giants (4-8)

Starting Pitchers: Nick Margevicius (L) vs. Derek Rodriguez (R)

  • We basically have a pick’em in this game, but public money is on San Diego. Both teams have averaged under four runs to start the season.
  • The under hit the last time these two pitchers bet on March 30th. The under is about 50% in both San Diego and San Francisco games.
  • San Francisco is 3-4 against left-handed pitching.

Miami Marlins (3-8) @ Cincinnati Reds (2-8)

Starting Pitchers: Trevor Richards (R) vs. Tyler Mahle (R)

  • After a big outburst of runs, Cincinnati is a heavy public favorite at -142, and the over is set at nine.  The under has hit 5 of 6 home games for Cincinnati this season.
  • Tyler Mahle has been using his slider more to right-handed hitters, but only has a 14% whiff rate on it. He relies heavily on his fastball, throwing it 65% of the time to right-handers and 77% to lefties.

Oakland Athletics (7-8) @ Baltimore Orioles (5-6)

Starting Pitchers: Frankie Montas (R) vs. Dan Straily (R)

  • Oakland come in as -185 road favorites tonight, and a total of 10 has been set. Both teams are averaging 4.5 runs per game this season. Over the last ten games, Oakland is averaging 5.6 runs per game against Baltimore.
  • The Athletics are 2-5 against right-handed pitching this season, and 1-4 on the road.

Washington Nationals (5-5) @ Philadelphia Phillies (7-3)

Starting Pitchers: Jeremy Hellickson (R) vs. Nick Pivetta (R)

  • No surprise to see a nine total in this spot, with the public hammering the over at nearly 75%. Philadelphia is averaging 6.3 runs per game this season, while Washington averages 5.9.
  • The over has hit in the last three games for Nick Pivetta, and the over is a combined 13-7 between these two teams.

Minnesota Twins (6-3) @ New York Mets (6-4)

Starting Pitchers: Jake Odorizzi (R) vs. Noah Syndergaard (R)

  • The Twins are in a similar situation as last night, sitting as huge dogs against another Mets ace. They are +170.
  • The over has gone 8-2 in the first ten Mets games this season.
  • Syndergaard sits with a 28% strikeout rate and 57% groundball rate, which is an elite combo.

Los Angeles Dodgers (8-4) @ St. Louis Cardinals (6-5)

Starting Pitchers: Kenta Maeda (R) vs. Jack Flaherty (R)

  • Los Angeles is averaging more runs per game than strikeouts as an offense to start the season. The Cardinals are striking out 10.1 times per game.
  • The total has gone over in eight of the last 12 Dodgers games.
  • Jack Flaherty has a 38% whiff rate on his curve, a 47% whiff rate on his slider, and a 50% whiff rate on his change so far this season.

New York Yankees (5-6) @ Houston Astros (7-5)

Starting Pitchers: James Paxton (L) vs. Collin McHugh (R)

  • This game is close to being a pick’em, and public is leaning Yankees at +100. They are also heavy on the over, which is usually the case.
  • James Paxton knows this Houston team well, and has won his last three starts vs. Houston. Last ten games, both teams have averaged under 3.5 runs against each other.
  • The under is 9-3 for Houston this season.

Pittsburgh Pirates (5-4) @ Chicago Cubs (3-7)

Starting Pitchers: Jordan Lyles (R) vs. Yu Darvish (R)

  • Wrigley wind is howling for tonight’s game, and blowing it in. This is death to bats, and a big upgrade for the pitchers.
  • Cubs are heavy favorites at -170, and despite the weather, public is heavy on the over of 7.
  • The under is also 7-3 in the last ten meetings between these two clubs.

Seattle Mariners (11-2) @ Kansas City Royals (2-8)

Starting Pitchers: Yusei Kikuchi (L) vs. Heath Fillmeyer (R)

  • The over has hit 9-2-2 so far for Seattle this season, and 7-2-1 for KC. Public is all over the over at 9.5 for this game.
  • Seattle is averaging 10.6 hits per game, leading to eight runs per game this season. Both teams are striking out less than 10 times per game.

Texas Rangers (5-6) @ Arizona Diamondbacks (6-5)

Starting Pitchers: Lance Lynn (R) vs. Robbie Ray (L)

  • Arizona are small favorites at -130, and the over is set at 8. Arizona is averaging six runs per game this season, and less than nine strikeouts per game.
  • Texas is 1-2 against left-handed pitching, and 1-4 on the road to start the season.

Milwaukee Brewers (8-4) @ Los Angeles Angels (6-6)

Starting Pitchers: Brandon Woodruff (R) vs. Felix Pena (R)

  • Milwaukee is averaging 5.2 runs per game this season, and both of these teams are not big strikeout teams. Angels average just 5.6 per game.
  • Angels are 5-1 at home, but are 1-4 as underdogs which they are tonight.
