Seattle Mariners (20-20) @ Boston Red Sox (19-19)

Starting Pitchers: Erik Swanson (R) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez (L)

  • Boston are large home favorites at -202, and have an implied total of six runs.
  • Seattle is 2-8 in their last ten games, while the Red Sox are 8-2. Both teams have swapped their hot play from the beginning of the year.
  • Boston had been pedestrian at home going 8-7.

New York Yankees (22-15) @ Tampa Bay Rays (23-13)

  • The Mets are monster -185 home favorites, and Zack Wheeler is in a good spot. Miami has an implied total of three runs.
  • New York has a chance to get back on track, as they are 3-7 in their last ten games.
  • Miami is 2-8 and are 4-12 on the road this season.

Detroit Tigers (16-18) @ Minnesota Twins (23-12)

Starting Pitchers: Tyson Ross (R) vs. Jake Odorizzi (R)

  • The red hot Twins are -219 favorites against Detroit, and have a 5.5 implied total.
  • Minnesota has won three straight and are 7-3 in their last ten games. Minnesota is 11-5 at home.
  • Detroit has held their own, but are 6-10 against teams above .500.

Texas Rangers (17-18) @ Houston Astros (23-15)

Starting Pitchers: Lance Lynn (R) vs. Justin Verlander (R)

  • Justin Verlander and the Astros are -243 favorites against the Rangers. Houston also has an implied total of five against Lance Lynn.
  • Texas struggles on the road, going 5-11. Houston has been dominant sitting at 13-4 at Minute Maid.

Philadelphia Phillies (21-15) @ Kansas City Royals (13-25)

Starting Pitchers: Jake Arrieta (R) vs. Homer Bailey (R)

  • Philadelphia will head into an AL ballpark and gain the DH. They have an implied total of 5.2, and are -139 favorites.
  • The Phillies have gotten going again, winning seven of their last ten games. However, they have struggled on the road going 7-8.

Pittsburgh Pirates (17-17) @ St. Louis Cardinals (22-16)

Starting Pitchers: Trevor Williams (R) vs. Adam Wainwright (R)

  • The Cardinals won big last night, and have a 4.7 implied total this evening. Wainwright is a -144 home favorite.
  • St. Louis is 4-6 in the last ten games, but have been excellent at home winning 14 of 20 games.

San Diego Padres (21-17) @ Colorado Rockies (17-20)

  • Oakland is 3-7 in their last ten, and have struggled against teams above .500, going 5-12.

Atlanta Braves (18-20) @ Arizona Diamondbacks (22-16)
