New Jersey Devils Vs. Boston Bruins Picks & Prediction

New Jersey is scoring three goals per game, ranking them 17th in the NHL and attempting 32 shots per game, 14th overall.  The road team, Devils have 10 players in their lineup that have scored at least 10 goals this campaign.  On the defensive side, the Devils are allowing 3.6 goals per game which is 28th in the NHL and yielding 31.1 shots a game, 12th overall.  Boston is scoring 3.1 goals per game, ranking them 16th in the NHL and attempting 35.7 shots per game, third overall.  In their lineup, Boston has five players in their lineup with at least 40 points.  On the defensive side, the Bruins are allowing 2.7 goals per game which is sixth in the NHL and yielding 29 shots a game, third overall.  With points at a premium in the Eastern Conference as Boston jockeys for playoff positioning, I like the Bruins to win this game with under 6.5 combined goals scored in the contest.
