The Patriots have yet another easy matchup for them at home. They appear to be the most complete team in the league right now and should get an easy home win. Even though the Giants look like a better team with Daniel Jones at quarterback, they are no match for the Patriots defense. Currently, the spread for this game is 16.5 points in favor of the Patriots. The Patriots could easily win by more than that amount, so expect a blowout. New York Giants Analysis

New York GiantsThe Giants offense will not have much of a chance to do well on offense this week. The Patriots defense has held every offense they have faced to under 10 points. The Giants should not do much better than those teams. They are a below average offense, and their WR1, TE1, and RB1 all questionable for this game. This game does not look good for any Giants players, as nobody is startable for fantasy football.

Against the Redskins last week, the Patriots defense allowed only 75 passing yards and 145 rushing yards. 65 of those 145 rushing yards came on one play, so the Patriots generally did well against the run. If it were not for a 65 yard end around play, the Patriots would have shut out the Redskins. This week, the Patriots could very well shut out the Giants as well. The defense has been playing extremely well and can stop the Giants easily. For the coming weeks, it will be important to note how Saquon Barkley and Sterling Shepard are recovering from injury. It will also be important to note how Golden Tate factors into the offense after a disappointing debut for his new team.

New England Patriots Analysis

New England PatriotsThe Patriots are coming off of a definitive win against the Redskins. With another easy matchup this week, they should do very well against the Giants. They have rank 26th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, 18th in fantasy points allowed to running backs, and 31st in fantasy points allowed to receivers. The Patriots should have a field day with this one. Brady has put up 20+ fantasy points in all of his games, except for one, so he should be able to put up more than 20 points against this Giants team.

Also, receivers Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon should do very well against the Giants. Last week, Edelman had 8 receptions for 110 yards and 1 touchdown. As Brady’s top option in the passing game, Edelman gets a lot of looks and produces a lot against bad defenses. Josh Gordon had a decent game, with 5 receptions for 59 yards, but he should do better against the Giants. They have allowed a lot of yards to receivers, so expect those two to have great games.

On offense, Sony Michel should have a big game. He is fully healthy and had 16 carries for 91 yards and 1 touchdown last week. He should get a similar number of carries this week, and will put up another good statline against the Giants poor run defense. Also, receivers Josh Gordon and Julian Edelman will have great games against the 25th ranked defense in yards allowed. Look for the Patriots offense to have a great game all around and look for the defense to shut down the Giants.

Daily Fantasy: Patriots Run Over Giants Defense

Sony Michel (DK: $5,500, FD: $6,500) is a great play for this week. His salary is extremely low on both DraftKings and FanDuel and he will get many carries against the Giants, who rank 24th against the run. Also on the Patriots offense, Tom Brady (DK: $6,800, FD: $7,700) should have a great game. In the first three weeks, Brady had 20+ points, and against this bottom ranked defense, he should have another 20+ point game. Also, his salary is relatively cheap on both DraftKings and FanDuel compared to other good quarterbacks. Julian Edelman (DK: $6,900, FD: $6,600) is another great option for this matchup, as the Giants have allowed so many fantasy points to receivers. Josh Gordon (DK: $6,300, FD: $6,900) should also have a great game against the Giants defense and has a very low salary on FanDuel.
