NFL Trade Tracker 2020

The NFL isn’t loaded with major trades like baseball or basketball, but it is something we need to follow. This offseason is going to be an interesting one in comparison to the past few years. There are a lot of teams on the bubble in terms of making a playoff jump, and they will be looking to make moves to get them to that point. There are a few teams in need of a quarterback, and while there are a lot of names out there in free agency and within this draft class, Cam Newton has been a trade rumor over the last six-seven months. We will see a lot of clickbait articles for trades this offseason, like Odell Beckham Jr and favorable destinations for him.

Cleveland gave up quite a bit to land OBJ, and while it didn’t work out in year one, cleansing the staff may have been the best first step. We should see him back in Cleveland in a post-hype year. Kenyan Drake surpassed David Johnson on the depth chart late last season. Johnson could reunite with his old Coach, Bruce Arians. He is under contract in Arizona, but there is a chance they move on from him. With the 2020 NFL Draft coming up, there will be picks on the move. This is where we usually see the most action. Teams will be moving up and down, especially with a heavy offensive class this year. There are quite a bit of skill position players that teams will be after. Some might have to move up. There are also teams like Detroit, who could move down and get a hefty haul for the third overall pick. Throughout the offseason and into the 2020 season, we will be updating each and every trade with some analysis and a breakdown of each team’s returns.
