Kansas State has been one of the biggest surprise teams in all of college basketball this year. They also might have the Coach of the Year in Jerome Tang.

Keyontae Johnson has been one of the best storylines in all of college basketball with how well he’s playing after collapsing on the court just a few years ago. He leads the team in scoring and rebounding for the season too. Markquis Nowell has been a great point guard for the Wildcats this year and leads the team in assists and steals per game for the season. Nae’Qwan Tomlin and Desi Sills have also been very good for the Wildcats this year when needed and Tomlin even leads the team in blocks per game for the season.

As a team, Kansas State excels more on offense than on defense. They’ve been able to score very easily and are also top-25 in assists per game for the season. They need to be more consistent on defense to take an extra step too.

Oklahoma has been decent enough at times this season to keep games close and also to jump up and beat a few good teams here and there. Kansas State has been a very good team this year and they should win this game at home. Oklahoma can keep this game close for a bit, but the Wildcats should pull away at home.
