Key Player Matchups
Al Horford vs. Giannis Antetokuonmpo
When the Bucks and Sixers played on Christmas day, Antetokounmpo was dealing with a back injury and you could see it was bothering him in the loss. He was 8-27 from the field but did finish with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists. That was his worst shooting performance of the season as well as the third-fewest points he scored in a game this season.
Al Horford is one of the few players who can give Antetokounmpo a problem and he will be asked again to stop the reigning MVP. Horford had 11 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in the first meeting.
Joel Embiid vs. Brook Lopez
Embiid had a big-time performance in the win on Christmas as he finished with 31 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 11-21 from the field. Embiid will need another big game as the Sixers need a win to stop their losing streak.
Lopez will be tasked with trying to stop Embiid. He had 11 points and five rebounds against Philly on Christmas day.
Daily Fantasy
As for which players to target for daily fantasy you should start with Giannis Antetokounmpo who is as close to a guarantee as you can get. Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid is also a great option as well as Ben Simmons. All three players are triple-double threats.
If looking for a cheaper option then consider Khris Middleton or Al Horford.
