The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-8) take on the Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) on Monday Night Football (1/15/24) to wrap up the NFL’s Super Wild Card weekend. The Eagles are 3-point road favorites against the spread and the over/under is 43.5 points.
Eagles vs. Seahawks Same Game Parlay Picks
This article recommends an Eagles vs. Buccaneers Same Game Parlay featuring a moneyline pick and player props involving Rachaad White and Baker Mayfield. We built our SGP on DraftKings, but we encourage you to always shop around for the best odds before you place any wagers. Let’s get to it.
Buccaneers moneyline (+120)
Let’s start our Same Game Parlay by tailing our best bet recommendation from our matchup preview, which was the Buccaneers’ moneyline. We simply have no confidence in this Eagles team after what we’ve seen recently, and we’re not going to bet on them flipping the switch now that the playoffs are here.
The main reason for that is the Eagles’ horrendous defense. Over their last six games, the Eagles allowed the 2nd most points per game (30.3) and they were 31st in defensive EPA and 30th in success rate. Those numbers correspond with all the games since the Eagles demoted defensive coordinator Sean Desai and promoted former Patriots DC and Lions head coach Matt Patricia to replace him, a move that has clearly backfired horribly.
The Eagles are going to need their offense to win this game for them, and they haven’t been playing much better on that side of the ball. They had no answers for the Giants’ blitzes in Week 18, and the Buccaneers are going to do a lot of the same things the Giants did. Tampa Bay blitzed at the 3rd-highest rate in the league and Jalen Hurts had just a 73.1 passer rating against extra rushers this season (28th in the league). Hurts and his top pass catcher AJ Brown also both are dealing with injuries that could limit their effectiveness in this game.

There are good reasons to like the way the Buccaneers match up both offensively and defensively with the Eagles right now, which is why we like them to win this game outright.
Depending on your feelings on that pick, you could adjust this leg of the parlay to play it a bit safer or a bit more aggressive. For example, you could play the Bucs +2.5 (or even an alt line like +3.5 to be even safer), or you could go aggressively the other way and play an alt line like Bucs -2.5 to juice up the total parlay odds. Play around to find your preferred risk/reward combination, but either way we suggesting betting on the Bucs this week.
Rachaad White over 23.5 receiving yards (-110)
On that note, we are going to look at some Buccaneers player prop picks for the next couple of legs of our Same Game Parlay. Our favorite player prop pick in this game is the over on Rachaad White’s receiving yards.
White had an excellent season this year, finishing with the 8th-most yards from scrimmage (4th among RBs) and the 3rd-most receiving yards among RBs (32.3 per game). He had at least 24 receiving yards in 11 of his 17 games including four of his last five, and he went over his receiving yards prop line in 12 games and five of his last six. He has an excellent chance to keep that going this week against an Eagles’ defense that has allowed an opposing RB to gain at least 24 receiving yards in five of their last seven games.
There is also a high chance of rain in this game (70% during gametime) which could limit the downfield passing game. That will make it more likely that Baker Mayfield will be relying more than usual on quick passes to White. Mayfield is also dealing with both rib and ankle injuries and will be looking to get rid of the ball more quickly than usual to avoid any pressure that could compromise those injuries. That creates some great scenarios for White to be heavily involved in the Buccaneers’ passing game this week.
After the first two legs, the full odds of our Same Game Parlay are at +285.
Baker Mayfield under 10.5 rushing yards (-125)
Speaking of Mayfield’s injuries and the likelihood of a high volume going to White, that is also going to limit Mayfield’s rushing production, which has already been minimal recently as it is. Mayfield has failed to reach double-digit rushing yards for six straight games and he is averaging just 1.7 rushing yards per game over that span.
Mayfield can be a capable runner when he’s healthy. He had seven games with 10+ rushing yards earlier in the season. The Eagles also can be vulnerable to running QBs. They have allowed at least 11 rushing yards to the opposing QB in seven of their last nine games. But Mayfield is not healthy and has not been running much lately, and even when healthy he gained only two yards against the Eagles back in Week 3.
Adding this third leg to our Same Game Parlay brings the total odds to +700. We are satisfied with those odds for a 3-leg parlay, but if we wanted to add a fourth leg to push the odds even higher then our next target would be looking at the anytime touchdown market. Here are the top players we would consider, along with their anytime TD odds and the 4-leg SGP odds if you add that pick to the parlay:
Jalen Hurts (-130) – +1400
Mike Evans (+105) – +1200
Cade Otton (+330) – +2600
