Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles Matchup Preview (11/30/20): Betting Odds, Depth Charts, Live Stream (Watch Online)

Both the Seahawks and the Eagles are in a tight division battle, although for Seattle they are actually in a good division with winning records, where the Eagles are in the NFC East filled with a bunch of 3-4 win teams. It doesn’t change the fact that both teams desperately need the win. Russell Wilson has been struggling of late, while Carson Wentz has been struggling from the start of the season. Philadephia is starting to get healthy bodies back which helps their offense but the offensive line continues to struggles. This should be a plus against a Seahawks secondary that has struggled all year long. The weather might be a little bit of an issue as there is a chance of showers. The Seahawks are road favorites as they are clearly the better team but Philadelphia is still capable of an upset. Seattle Seahawks Analysis

Seattle SeahawksThe Seahawks get Chris Carson back this week, who has looked great when healthy. However, health has been a battle this year. He has averaged 4.9 yards per carry and has also looked great in the receiving game with 147 yards and three scores. The major story has been the duo of receivers for the Seahawks. DK Metcalf has a 48-862-9 line while Tyler Lockett is at 67-748-8. David Moore has over 300 yards and four scores as well. The Eagles will have their hands full this week. While Russell Wilson has struggled a bit of late and more so with the turnovers, he is averaging 335 yards per game and 30 touchdowns. Given a lot of these games have been shootouts, he needs to put up big numbers. They have allowed 26 points per game this season and most of it coming through the air. Seattle has allowed 343.7 passing yards per game this season but have done well against the run, allowing 91.2 yards per game.

Philadelphia Eagles Analysis

Philadelphia EaglesThe Eagles offense has been just about as bad as the Jets. They are averaging 21.8 points per game this season and have 14 interceptions. They are averaging just 209 yards per game through the air this year. With the offensive line in the shape that it is in, you’d think running the ball would be tough, but they have averaged five yards per carry and 121 yards per game. Wentz has been under pressure all year long and sacked 40 times already. Wentz is completing less than 60% of his passes and the 1/1 TD/INT ratio is not good. Miles Sanders has played just seven games this season but has been superb against mainly tougher run defenses as well. He has 585 yards and 5.7 yards per carry. Philadelphia might have their entire receiving core and tight ends healthy for this one. It has not been pretty, but Ertz, Reagor, Fulgham, and Goedert should be the main options here.

QB: Carson Wentz
RB1: Miles Sanders
RB2: Boston Scott
WR1: Travis Fulgham
WR2: Jalen Reagor
WR3: Alshon Jeffery
TE: Zach Ertz

Betting Corner: Seahawks -5.5

Spread: SEA -5.5
Moneyline: SEA -270 / PHI +220
Over/Under: 49

The Seahawks are 6-4 ATS this season and head on over to Philadelphia to face a 3-6-1 Eagles team that is a measly 3-7 ATS. This is a matchup that the Seahawks have dominated in their history but both teams come into this one struggling a bit. Seattle’s defensive issues have tightened up a little but the offense has not been as pristine as the first few weeks. As for the Eagles their offense has struggled all year long. The over/under has already come down a bit due to some rain in the forecast. I think we see the Seahawks rely on Chris Carson and the defense to go on the road and bring back a win. With the Eagles struggles I don’t expect them to just turn it on all of a sudden, so the under is in play here.

Daily Fantasy Picks

This is another showdown slate game or in week-long contests, and this has some sneaky matchups for a few of the players this week. The Seattle secondary continues to struggle and I do like attacking with the Eagles tight ends, but Zach Ertz returning does add another body now into all of a sudden a clouded receiving core as far as a target share goes. They are still in play both Ertz and Goedert. Jalen Reagor is the guy I am still interested in the most as Alshon Jeffery is back but really not a strong play given I find him to be over the hill as a player. As for the Seahawks, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are still very much in play despite Darius Slay likely to follow Metcalf around and the Eagles secondary being decent. Chris Carson is also returning and his volume always makes him a strong play.
