Super Bowl 58 Odds: 49ers Vs. Chiefs

Kansas City defeated the Ravens in the AFC Championship 17-7. The Chiefs have been a favored team in the AFC, but were underdogs in the last two playoff games. They were also sitting outside of teams like the Ravens, Dolphins, and Bills at points this season. No surprise they are underdogs against the 49ers, who have been favored for most of the season to come out of the NFC. Quite different from the Chiefs sitting as 1.5 point favorites in the matchup from a few years ago.

The 49ers will be glad to get away from the NFC North opponents after two close calls. Being viewed as the more complete team, San Francisco open as field goal favorites in most spots. As a favorite this season, the 49ers have gone 9-9 ATS.

The total is opening at 47, which at a glance feels right given the two defenses. Both Kansas City and San Francisco ranked top-ten in defensive EPA. Offensively, the 49ers led the league in EPA and success rate. The Chiefs were just outside the top-ten in a down year. Unders were favorable for the Chiefs, hitting at a 70% clip this season. San Francisco was at a near split at 55%.

The latest Super Bowl odds have the Chiefs as -3 favorites vs. the Detroit Lions, and an over/under set at 47. Sportsbooks will be moving the Super Bowl odds, find the latest lines, totals, and spreads for Super Bowl 58
