For those looking for some shorter term fantasy options to help deal with struggling players or injuries, this is where you want to be. Streaming is a popular fantasy term that means you are looking for the best set of matchups in a short term basis. For leagues where you need to set a weekly lineup, this can come in handy. Injuries are always messing with our lineups, but that is what the waiver wire is for. Let us dive in to find the best weekly streaming options by position.

Aaron Holiday – PG – Indiana Pacers
With Malcolm Brogdon out, Aaron Holiday has seen more time on the court. Overall this season, Brogdon has missed eight games already. Holiday has filled in nicely, averaging a 15-3-7 line with 2.3 threes made per game. He is averaging 21.4 minutes per game in games Brogdon plays, and 29.3 when he is out. Brogdon is set to miss another two games, which puts Holiday in line for a few starts this week. Holiday will see the Hornets, Heat, and Bulls over the next three games this week. Not a bad schedule for Holiday to keep things going.
Shabazz Napier – PG, SG – Minnesota Timberwolves
The Minnesota injury report has been long and lengthy of late. Shabazz Napier is another short term fill in option for this week. Jeff Teague is dealing with a knee injury, and his durability. Shabazz Napier has been playing over 30 minutes in his last three games, scoring 20, 22, and 24 real points. He also has 18 assists in that span. Minnesota has a few games this week against Memphis, Portland, and Houston. Napier has played extremely well, and given Teague’s injury history the last few years, Napier could earn more minutes even past this week.
Jordan Clarkson – PG, SG – Utah Jazz
Jordan Clarkson was traded to the Utah Jazz from the Cleveland Cavaliers, and has carved out an early role. The injury to Mike Conley helps. Since coming to Utah, he has taken double digit shot attempts in three of the four games, scoring 12, 20, 19, and 9 points. Clarkson isn’t going to give you a ton of peripheral stats, but if you are looking for some offense this week, Clarkson is a solid add. Clarkson will see fairly easy matchups with the Pelicans, Knicks, Hornets, and Wizards to round out a four game week.
Darius Garland – PG – Cleveland Cavaliers
With that Jordan Clarkson trade, it opened up some minutes. We are already starting to see the younger Cavs players taking over a bit. Darius Garland is one of them, averaging 30.2 minutes per game over his last five. He is averaging 13-2-3 in that span with a steal per game. The young Cleveland guard is a long term pickup as well, but you can use him this week in some strong matchups. Kevin Porter is also low owned, and is seeing 26 minutes per game in the last five. He has averaged 12-4-2. Both these names should have heavier roles for the rest of the year.
Glenn Robinson III – SG – Golden State Warriors
Golden State’s revolving door of players continues, and Glenn Robinson is a Week 12 filler. He is averaging 34 minutes per game in the last five, and putting up a 15-4-2 line, shooting 49% from the field. The Warriors will face the Kings, Bucks, Clippers, and Grizzlies over the next four games for this week. Some tougher matchups, but Robinson’s workload will keep him afloat. Even with D’Angelo Russell returning at some point, Robinson’s usage in the offense is still solid. The longer Russell is out though, the more usage there will be

Gorgui Dieng – PF, C – Minnesota Timberwolves
It is going to be tough to expect Karl-Anthony Towns back given he wants out of Minnesota and is dealing with a knee injury that won’t have him rushing back. Gorgui Dieng ranks 22nd in 9-category scoring over the last two weeks. He has averaged 12 and 10, playing 30 minutes per game over the last seven games. Dieng should continue at least for one more week drawing starts for the injured Towns. With him also voicing some displeasure being in Minnesota, Dieng could have a full time role at some point this season.
Maxi Kleber – PF, C – Dallas Mavericks
Kristaps Porzingis has missed the last few games, and it seems like he will miss a few more with Dallas taking it easy on his return. The Mavericks will turn to Maxi Kleber for a few games. Kleber has played three games without him this season, averaging 29.8 minutes per game and a 14-7-1 line. Kleber should continue to fill in over the next few games while Porzingis works his way back. Thankfully this isn’t a serious injury, but Dallas just exercising caution is key.
Christian Wood – PF, C – Detroit Pistons
With Blake Griffin and Markieff Morris out, Christian Wood has been getting more run. He has played 24, 28, 23, and 23 minutes over the last four games. In those games he has averaged 12 and 7. The Pistons schedule over the next few games is not bad either, getting the Cavaliers twice, and then the Bulls. These are two teams Wood can capitalize on the matchup in. Griffin seems unlikely to come back this week, where Morris might make a return, but neither on are on track.
Nemanja Bjelica – PF – Sacramento Kings
The Kings will be without Marvin Bagley for a bit, which pushes Nemanja Bjelica into a sizable role on offense. He has played 28 minutes or more in each of the last four games, and contributes across the board. Bjelica has been around the fantasy world for a while now, and has been in bench and starting roles. Generally when the minutes are there he has been a solid fantasy producer.
Troy Brown – SF – Washington Wizards
Troy Brown has been playing well for Washington, averaging 30 minutes per game over the last eight. He is shooting just 40% from the field, but averaging 13.1 field goal attempts per game in that span. He is averaging 13 points per game and 6.3 boards in those eight games. Washington has four games this week, facing Boston, Orlando twice, and Atlanta.
