2024 Super Bowl Odds: Lookahead Lines For Super Bowl 58
2024 Super Bowl odds have been released for all NFL teams. See the latest Super Bowl 58 odds for Super Bowl futures and compare across sportsbooks as lines begin to roll in for next season.
2024 Super Bowl Odds
This time last year, the Eagles sat near the middle of the pack in Super Bowl LVII futures odds. Anyone who went ahead and placed a bet on the Eagles to win the NFC was rewarded, and anyone who bet on Philadelphia to win it all just might be in line for a major payday.
With Super Bowl LVII here and the offseason approaching, where can you find similar value this year? Let’s take a look at the 2024 Super Bowl Odds
Super Bowl 58 Teams To Watch
San Francisco 49ers (+900)
The 49ers are tied for the best odds of any NFC team, but there’s still some potential value here. Anyone who saw San Francisco win 12 consecutive games from October through January had to be wondering what the team would look like with a high-end quarterback. What if Trey Lance can be that guy?
Brock Purdy may end up as the 49ers’ starter again, but a large part of me still believes Kyle Shanahan wants to give Lance a fair shot. If San Francisco is able to hold onto its great weapons, Lance has a chance to thrive and do just enough to turn the 49ers from Super Bowl contender to Super Bowl champions.
Cincinnati Bengals (+900)
The Bengals were undervalued coming into 2022, and they’re still being underestimated a bit in the AFC. Cincinnati has its quarterback, has its receivers, and would have had its offensive line settled in the playoffs if not for three major injuries.
There are some questions regarding who they can and cannot keep on the defense, but there’s enough depth that I’m not concerned – especially if DC Lou Anarumo isn’t hired as the Cardinals’ head coach and stays on.
The Bengals aren’t fading away anytime soon and proved this season that they already have a roster capable of winning a championship. To me, Cincinnati is worth the bet over the Chiefs and Bills with this kind of value.
Detroit Lions (+2500)
The NFC continues to look much easier to win than the AFC, where great quarterbacks can be found at every turn. Jared Goff may not be an elite quarterback, but he’s one of the NFC’s better signal-callers when the right pieces are surrounding him. The Lions looked like one of the NFC’s best teams not named the Eagles or 49ers in November and beyond, and the trajectory is only pointing up.
Jameson Williams will be fully healthy for 2023, a top-tier offensive line remains in place, and the offseason gives Detroit a chance to bolster its defense. At +2500, the Lions could be worth a flier to make an Eagles-type leap.
New York Jets (+2500)
The Jets are a team to watch if, and only if, they land Aaron Rodgers. Derek Carr or Jimmy Garoppolo could elevate a Jets team with a tremendous defense and promising offensive pieces to the playoffs, but they can’t win the AFC considering how loaded the conference is. Rodgers just might be able to do it if the pieces fall into place.
Garrett Wilson is better than any receiver Rodgers had this season in Green Bay, a healthy Breece Hall and Alijah Vera-Tucker would help elevate the rest of the offense. Rodgers also has plenty of familiarity with Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
If he comes out of his darkness retreat and decides he wants to be traded, Rodgers would make the Jets a pretty interesting flier at +2500.
Baltimore Ravens (+1600)
The Ravens are always a popular bet at this stage of the game because their floor seems so high. The defense is almost always good enough to earn Baltimore a playoff berth, and the rest lies on Lamar Jackson’s shoulders – or his legs.
If Jackson can finish the season healthy and the Ravens actually invest in a proven wide receiver or two, Baltimore should be much improved from this past season. The Ravens will also have a new offensive coordinator, which should be a boost.
I understand the hesitancy because of Jackson’s uncertain contract status, but it doesn’t look like he’s going anywhere unless he demands it. That uncertainty may give you some more value right now at +1600 and make the Ravens a worthwhile bet for Super Bowl LVIII.
