With so many sports betting apps available right now, forging strategic partnerships has become necessary in the battle for market share. Much of the time, this means a partnership with a professional sports team or a casino, offering everything from unique promotions to entire retail sportsbooks and betting lounges.
Tipico Sportsbook Ohio is the latest mobile sports betting site to ink a new deal, although it’s more unique than most of the partnerships we’ve seen in the past. Tipico Sportsbook Signs Monumental New Ohio Deal With AEG Presents
A first-of-its kind agreement has just been announced between sports betting site Tipico Sportsbook and entertainment company AEG Presents in anticipation of the upcoming Ohio sports betting launch. The marketing deal will see Tipico Online Sportsbook as the exclusive sports betting sponsor for a number of different venues that AEG Presents operates and owns throughout the state of Ohio, such as Newport Music Hall, KEMBA Live!, and Agora Theater & Ballroom.
Another interesting wrinkle of the deal has Tipico Sportsbook as the presenting partner of the upcoming “Best Bet Concert Series.” According to the press release from Tipico, the series will showcase 32 concerts and take place across different Ohio concert venues on an annual basis.
Tipico Sportsbook and AEG Presents are celebrating the new deal with an exclusive deal that includes $10,000 total in event tickets. This will reward Tipico Sportsbook Ohio users with not just bonus money, but the chance at two tickets to a 2023 concert of their choosing.

Other Tipico Sportsbook Partnerships
However, the new deal with AEG Presents isn’t the only partnership we’ve seen from Tipico Sportsbook. The online sports betting app currently has deals with two Major League Soccer teams: the Colorado Rapids and the Columbus Crew. The deal with the Crew will be mutually beneficial during the launch of Ohio sports betting, as it includes a retail sportsbook at Lower.com Field in Columbus.
Interestingly, while Tipico has deals with MLS teams, the wagering platform hasn’t forged partnerships with teams from any other major leagues such as the NHL, NBA, NFL, or MLB. Once Tipico Sportsbook Ohio goes live, it will be worth watching if the mobile sportsbook adds more betting partnerships to increase its visibility in the state’s new wagering market.

Ohio Sports Betting Prepares For New Years Launch
On New Year’s Day 2023, Ohio sports betting will be completely available. This means that with the launch, you can expect Tipico Sportsbook and its competitors such as BetMGM Sportsbook Ohio, Caesars Sportsbook Ohio, DraftKings Sportsbook Ohio, BetRivers Sportsbook Ohio, and FanDuel Sportsbook Ohio to start taking bets.
