After the Bengals-Titans game was a letdown for player props betting, we bounced back in a massive way with seemingly every prop hitting in the Bills-Chiefs game. This week, we get a rematch of a 34-31 shootout won by the Bengals earlier this season in what should be a tantalizing AFC Championship. With superstar players on both sides of the field, there are many avenues to explore for player prop betting in this game. You can use the player prop search tool below to find the best odds in your market. Let’s take a look at my favorite angles from this fantastic AFC Championship matchup.
Cincinnati Bengals Vs. Kansas City Chiefs Player Prop Search Tool
Joe Burrow Over 285.5 Passing Yards
The fact that this line is still under 300 yards feels like a gift. The Bengals’ second-year quarterback has been on quite the productive run as of late, with 344 passing yards per game over his last five, including 446 yards against Kansas City just a few weeks ago. The Chiefs have allowed 251.4 passing yards per game this year, the sixth-most in the NFL, and Josh Allen threw for 329 yards against them last week. Tyrann Mathieu is questionable for this game, but if he doesn’t play, that’s only an added boost for Burrow as he’s the leader of the Kansas City secondary. The projected game script of this game with the Bengals as 7-point underdogs and a high over/under line boosts this projection for Burrow, as well.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire Over 37.5 Rushing Yards
The Jerick McKinnon hype was fun for a moment, but Clyde Edwards-Helaire is still the lead back on this team, and he just picked up 60 rushing yards on just seven carries last week. With the attention the Bengals’ defense has to pay to the pass-catching talents of Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, there will be plenty of soft fronts for CEH to take advantage of. The Bengals allowed both D’Onta Foreman and Derrick Henry to run for over 60 yards, despite the Titans playing from behind for a large chunk of that game. CEH likely only needs about seven or eight carries to hit this line this week, especially if he can break off a long run like he did last week.
Joe Mixon Over 3.5 Receptions
I try to steer clear of props that carry this much juice, but Mixon could hit this line in the first half on Sunday. Over his past five games, Mixon is averaging 4.8 receptions per game, and he has been an essential part of the passing attack with the little time that Burrow has had in the pocket. That stretch includes seven receptions against the Chiefs a few weeks ago. Mixon’s receiving production has always been a huge part of his talent, and he should produce through the air again this week. If you want to look at over 27.5 receiving yards to avoid some juice on this line, I don’t mind that approach, as he’s been over that mark for four straight games.
Byron Pringle Over 3.5 Receptions
Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce will carry the most interest in player prop betting, and I’ll have them both in my Same Game Parlay below. However, I’m interested in getting Pringle at plus money to hit over 3.5 receptions in this game. Pringle has five catches in three straight games and five or more in four of his last five as he has taken on a more significant role in the offense. His snap share has increased as the season has gone on, and the matchup against the Bengals should be exploitable as they allowed the seventh-most passing yards per game this year.
