Jonathan Taylor Week 11 Anytime Touchdown (IND @ NYJ)
- The Jets were absolutely embarrassed in Arizona last week and could pull the plug on a lost season. Perhaps they respond with a spirited effort, but their defensive front has been extremely vulnerable all season, especially under interim coach Jeff Ulbrich. The Jets have coughed up seven rushing touchdowns over their last three games and are allowing opponents to score touchdowns on 61.54% of red zone possessions in that span. Anthony Richardson is back under center for the Colts, and that could open things up for Taylor since the defense has to respect a dual-threat quarterback. Taylor handled a whopping six red zone carries while playing on 82.8% of offensive snaps last week against Buffalo, and he has the highest opportunity share (87.4%) among running backs this season.
Nick Chubb Week 11 Anytime Touchdown (CLE @ NO)
- We also highlight Chubb in our Week 11 player props article because the Browns lead back should be able to ramp up after Cleveland’s bye week. Chubb failed to score in two very tough matchups before the bye against the Ravens and Chargers, two teams that have allowed just one rushing touchdown between them over the past three weeks. Now he faces a Saints team that has yielded the most rushing yards per game (182.6) at a league-high 6.2 yards per carry in home games and has coughed up 1.4 rushing touchdowns per game overall. Chubb has seen three red zone carries in all three of his outings since making his season debut despite playing on just 42.4% of snaps in those games, so even if his workload remains limited, he should get opportunities to score. Consider parlaying Chubb to reach 50 or 60 rushing yards with a touchdown to generate +200 odds.
David Montgomery Week 11 Anytime Touchdown (DET vs JAX)
- Montgomery has slightly better odds than his backfield mate, Jahmyr Gibbs (-175), in a matchup the Lions (-13.5) are expected to dominate. Jacksonville is playing out the string with Mac Jones at the helm of an injury-riddled roster, and the Jags head into a bye week after this game. The Lions should get left tackle Taylor Decker back from a one-game absence, which gives them the consensus best offensive line in football. Montgomery has scored in seven of his nine outings this season behind that line, with the exceptions coming against Minnesota’s elite defense and in a road game at Green Bay. He still handled seven red zone carries in that matchup against the Packers and has received nine carries at the goal line this season. He’s also scored in nine of 10 home games since joining the Lions last year.
Josh Allen Week 11 Anytime Touchdown (BUF vs KC)
- Allen tends to use his legs more in bigger games, and this matchup is enormous for the Bills if they want to have any shot at the top seed in the AFC. He rushed for two touchdowns and 72 yards in a divisional round matchup against the Chiefs this past January and has rushed for a touchdown in two of his last three regular season matchups against the Chiefs, all of which have come at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs’ red zone defense has been elite, but it’s also been a bit more vulnerable on the road this season, where 42.86% of opponent touchdowns have come on the ground. Allen’s top three red zone targets (Keon Coleman, Amari Cooper, and Dalton Kincaid) are all either questionable or out due to injuries, so he might have to make things happen with his legs if nothing is open in the end zone. Since the Chiefs have not allowed a single rushing touchdown to running backs this season, Allen might have a better chance to score than James Cook.
