Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks NFL Player Props & Picks (10/16/22)
Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks Player Prop Picks
The Arizona Cardinals visit the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Cardinals are coming off a heartbreaking loss after missing a last-second field goal, while the Seahawks won last week in a very high-scoring game. This should be an interesting game because these two teams don’t like each other. Let’s take a look at some player prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.
Kyler Murray Over 269.5 Passing Yards
Kyler Murray has been good this year, but it feels like he should be playing better. He has 1,241 passing yards, six passing touchdowns, and three touchdowns on the year so far. This number seems big, but the Seahawks defense has not been that good so far this year. Seattle’s defense has been allowing 439 total yards a game, with 269 of those yards coming through the air. Murray has hit over this number in just two of the five games that the Cardinals have played, but that Seattle defense makes this number one to like. This feels like a game where Murray will want to make a statement before getting DeAndre Hopkins back next week. Expect a shootout, and that’s the biggest reason to like this bet.
Tyler Lockett Over 71.5 Receiving Yards
The Seattle receiving corps has been very good this year, and the leader in the clubhouse is Tyler Lockett. He has 32 receptions, 406 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns on the year so far. Lockett has hit over this number in four of the five games the Seahawks have played so far this year. His best game was against the 49ers in Week 2 when he had nine receptions for 107 receiving yards. The Cardinals are not great against the pass this year either, so Lockett has a great chance of getting the over here just because of that factor too. Lockett has also been putting up these great numbers even when splitting time with D.K. Metcalf on the other end. Take this bet here, mainly because this has shootout potential, and if that’s the case expect Lockett to be Seattle’s primary receiver throughout the game.
Marquise Brown Over 79.5 Receiving Yards
Marquise Brown has been a very good receiving option for the Cardinals, especially with the absence of DeAndre Hopkins. Brown and Kyler Murray have a history together dating back to college at Oklahoma, and its shown itself on the field this year. Brown has hit over this number in three of the five games that the Cardinals have played this year. However, he’s gone over this number in three straight games. His best game was against the Los Angeles Rams where he had 14 receptions, 140 receiving yards, and averaged 10 yards a catch. Seattle’s passing defense has not been good, so that will also help Brown get the over here. This game has shootout written all over it, so when you expect points, expect yards too. Take this bet because Brown is still Arizona’s primary receiver for at least one more week, so the targets will be there.
