Atlanta Falcons vs Cincinnati Bengals NFL Player Props & Picks (10/23/22)

Atlanta Falcons vs. Cincinnati Bengals Player Prop Picks

The Atlanta Falcons visit the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Atlanta Falcons are coming off a surprising win last week, while the Bengals also won last week in a shootout. This should be an interesting matchup because both teams have been good this year. Let’s take a look at some player prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.

Joe Burrow Over 291.5 Passing Yards

Joe Burrow seems like he’s finally found his stride this season after a slow start. He has 1,616 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, five interceptions, and he also has a 67% completion percentage on the year. His best game was just last week when he threw for 300 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions against the Saints. It definitely seemed like the Bengals as a whole and Burrow individually had a bit of a Super Bowl hangover, but that seems like it’s finally over. He’s only hit over this number in two of the six games that the Bengals have played in, but he did it last week most recently. The Falcons are giving up 291 passing yards a game, which is bad, and is a number Joe Burrow could get over by just one yard. Expect Burrow to continue his hot streak and get over this number.

Marcus Mariota Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

Marcus Mariota has been a nice surprise for the Falcons this year. He has 1,055 passing yards, six passing touchdowns, four interceptions, and he also has a 61% completion percentage. He’s been very efficient for the Falcons this year. However, he’s only gone over this number in passing touchdowns in two of the six games that the Falcons have played so far on the year. The reason why I like this bet here is because it seems like the Falcons might be finding their stride and could build off the last week’s big win. They also run the ball very well, which makes it likely that the the Falcons can take advantage of the defense being overcommitted to the run throughout the game. Expect Mariota to go over the number here because the Falcons are for real.

Ja’Marr Chase Over 85.5 Receiving Yards

Ja’Marr Chase seemed off a bit in the Bengals first few games, but last week felt like a breakout game back to what we should be expecting normally. He has 39 receptions, 475 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns on the year. His best game was last week when he had seven receptions, 132 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints. He’s only hit over this number in two of the six games that the Bengals have played in. He was also five yards short of being over this number in one other game. He seemed to be apart of the Super Bowl hangover affecting the Bengals, but it seems like he’s back now. The Falcons are giving up 291 passing yards a game, which will also factor into Chase getting over this number. Ja’Marr Chase proved last week why he’s one of the best receivers in the league, so expect a similar performance again here.
