Atlanta Falcons vs. Los Angeles Rams Player Prop Picks

The Los Angeles Rams host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. Atlanta lost a nail-biter in Week 1 to the New Orleans Saints, while the Rams are looking to bounce back after not looking good at all against Buffalo to open the season. Check out the odds and some player prop bets that jump out the most for the game on Sunday!

Matthew Stafford Over 281.5 Passing Yards

Stafford is going to want to rebound after last week. He threw three interceptions to one touchdown and had 240 yards passing. The cure for him to get back on track is to get the Atlanta Falcons defense. Jameis Winston threw for 269 yards last week and then the Saints also had 151 rushing yards too. The Falcons are in complete rebuilding mode across the board, but especially on defense. Stafford is at home and should be trying to spread the ball around more than just strictly targeting Cooper Kupp. A great example is trying to get Allen Robinson involved more after barely seeing any action last game. Stafford gets a great team to try and rebound with, and I expect it to happen pretty easily.

Kyle Pitts Over 60.5 Receiving Yards

Pitts is going to be a solid pick to go over his yards in every game this year. He’s going to be the Falcons most consistent wide receiving threat all year. I like this pick just strictly on volume of targets and the fact that the Falcons don’t really have anyone else in the wide receiving corps that jumps out besides Pitts and Drake London. It was a quiet game for Pitts last week, but I would expect Pitts to bounce back this week too. The Rams gave up a lot of yards through the air last week, and maybe that was just because it was against the Bills, but don’t be surprised if Pitts ends up with a lot of yards against this defense. Mariota had an alright game last week, but this week the Falcons might try and pass more to make a statement early on. Bet on Pitts here, he’s bound to have a bounce back.

Cooper Kupp Over 97.5 Receiving Yards

This is the best bet in this game. Kupp’s receiving yards are the surest thing for the Rams on offense the entire year. Kupp had 128 receiving yards last week against the Bills so if he can get it against the Bills then I expect Kupp to be unstoppable from that perspective all year. The Falcons are going to have issues on defense all year, so this matchup sets up well for Cooper Kupp to have a very good game. Expect Stafford and the Rams to get him involved early and often like always. Also expect the Falcons to offer little to no resistance on the defensive side of the ball. Kupp is the best weapon either team has in this game, and will be the difference maker in favor of the Rams. Bet on Kupp here, and also think about betting on him for the rest of the year too, just based on consistency.
