Baltimore Ravens vs New York Giants NFL Player Props & Picks (10/16/22)
Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Giants Player Prop Picks
The Baltimore Ravens visit the New York Giants in Week 6 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Ravens won last week on a last-second field goal, while the Giants also won in thrilling fashion from a goal-line stand. This should be an interesting matchup because both teams seem capable of making noise in the postseason. Let’s take a look at some player prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.
Lamar Jackson Over 60.5 Rushing Yards
Lamar Jackson is the ultimate dual-threat quarterback that the NFL has, next to only Kyler Murray and maybe Josh Allen. He’s been having a great season so far by having 1,067 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also has a 64% completion percentage. He has 49 carries, 374 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns too on the ground. His best game on the ground so far was against the Miami Dolphins when he had 119 yards on the ground and one touchdown. He’s been playing like an MVP candidate this year with the combination of passing and rushing yards he’s put up. The New York Giants are not the best against the run and are allowing 132 rushing yards a game. Jackson has also hit over this number in three of the five games so far, while being three yards short in one other game. He’s been a do-it-all quarterback this year, so take this bet against the Giants.
Saquon Barkley Over 83.5 Rushing Yards
Saquon Barkley has gotten off to a very hot start this year after having a few seasons marred by injuries. He has 97 carries, 533 rushing yards, and three rushing touchdowns on the year too. His best game was against the Titans in Week 1 when he had 164 rushing yards and one touchdown. He’s been easily the best offensive player that the Giants have had this year, especially because some of their receivers have gotten injured. The Ravens have been decent against the run, but bad against the pass. The Ravens are giving up 108 rushing yards a game, so Barkley could still get that over based on the average. Expect Barkley to get the over here, just based on the usage alone. This is a great bet here in this game.
Mark Andrews Over 72.5 Receiving Yards
Mark Andrews has been easily one of the best tight ends in the NFL over the last few years. He’s also the most reliable target that Jackson has in his receiving corps. He has 32 receptions, 349 receiving yards, and four touchdowns on the year so far. He has also hit the over for this number in three of the five games the Ravens have played in to this point. His best game was against the Miami Dolphins where he had 104 receiving yards and one touchdown. The targets alone should help Andrews get the over here too. Take this bet as Andrews is the go-to receiver for the Ravens.
