David Montgomery Week 14 Anytime Touchdown (DET vs. GB)
- With Montgomery, the defense can know what’s coming and still have no power to stop it. The powerful back scored in 10 of his first 11 regular season home games with the Lions, then failed to find the end zone on Thanksgiving against the Bears. His running mate, Jahmyr Gibbs, lost a costly fumble near the goal line to flip momentum in that game, so Montgomery might be the preferred option on short-yardage plays one week later. Monty was also dealing with a shoulder injury ahead of that matchup, so his playing time was a bit more limited. He’s dominated against the Packers, with four touchdowns in three meetings against Green Bay since joining the Lions. While he didn’t score in the first matchup at Lambeau, he handled seven red zone touches in that low-scoring game.
Josh Jacobs Week 14 Anytime Touchdown (GB @ DET)
- Jacobs doesn’t have the same elite offensive line blocking for him, but he also doesn’t have as much competition for red zone touches as Detroit’s top two backs. He has logged seven red touches in consecutive games, scoring four touchdowns in those home games. He played on 78% of offensive snaps last Thursday against Miami, with Emmanuel Wilson working in a clear change-of-pace role. The Lions have been solid in run defense this year but had to put leading linebacker Alex Anzalone on injured reserve and lost his backup, Malcolm Rodriguez, to a season-ending ACL injury. Defensive linemen DJ Reader (shoulder), Josh Paschal (knee), and Levi Onwuzurike (hamstring) are also questionable for Detroit after missing practice time this week.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Week 14 Anytime Touchdown (DET vs. GB)
- St. Brown is one of the toughest covers in the game, and the Packers will be without top cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) and backup corner Corey Ballentine (knee) on Thursday. St. Brown has drawn at least one red zone target in six straight games and had scored in eight straight games before being held out of the end zone in each of Detroit’s last two games. That brief lull lowers his price on an anytime touchdown while raising the price for tight end Sam LaPorta (+160), who has not been heavily involved this year but caught two short touchdowns on Thanksgiving. St. Brown is third in the NFL in receptions per game (6.3) and second among receivers in touchdowns (nine) with Jared Goff sporting an excellent 126.7 rating when he targets his top option.
Tucker Kraft Week 14 Anytime Touchdown (GB @ DET)
- While he’s run just 31 total routes over his last three games, Kraft was targeted on all seven of his routes in Green Bay’s last outing, and he logged a 90.7% snap rate while going for 78 yards in that contest against Miami. He’s caught six touchdowns this season, including two when Romeo Doubs was suspended by the Packers in Week 5. Doubs is out this week with a concussion, and leading receivers Jaydon Reed and Christian Watson will draw tougher individual matchups against the Lions cornerbacks. Kraft can take advantage on the interior against a Lions linebacking corps that is decimated by injuries and might struggle with communication as new starters enter the equation.
