Christian McCaffrey Week 12 Player Prop (SF @ GB)
Over 73.5 rushing yards: Over 73.5 (-117) on BetRivers
- McCaffrey has had two games to regain his footing after missing over half the season with Achilles tendinitis, and the Niners haven’t had the luxury of easing him back into action. He already leads all running backs in opportunity share (91.7%) and is running routes on 64% of Brock Purdy’s dropbacks. The Niners are underdogs at Green Bay in a desperation spot, so they should look to ride their best player as a runner and receiver. The Packers have given up huge rushing lines to top backs all season and have coughed up 27 first downs via the rush this season. The Niners controlled the clock in a loss to the Seahawks last week, with McCaffrey carrying 19 times for 79 yards. Their offensive line ranks in the top 10 in most metrics and Purdy (elbow) hasn’t been consistent lately, giving us more confidence in a heavy workload for McCaffrey.
Baker Mayfield Week 12 Player Prop (TB @ NYG)
Over 13.5 rushing yards: Over 13.5 (-115) on BetRivers
- The Giants’ biggest strength is their ability to generate an interior pass rush, which can be a weakness when facing mobile quarterbacks. We’ve seen Jayden Daniels run around Dexter Lawrence and company twice this year, and Baker Mayfield is an underrated athlete who is capable of evading that rush to churn out yardage. He’s averaging 19.6 rushing yards per game and was up to 22.3 rushing yards on 4.2 attempts per game in his previous six outings before getting held to 3 rushing yards by the 49ers in Week 10. Coming off a bye with Mike Evans (hamstring) expected back to draw defenders down the field, Mayfield should be able to take off for a few productive scrambles against a Giants team that could start to pack it in for the season.
Justin Jefferson Week 12 Player Prop (MIN @ CHI)
Under 83.5 receiving yards: Under 83.5 (-110)
- Fading one of the top receivers in the game can be scary, but it’s worth considering when Jefferson is going up against one of the top cornerbacks in the game. Chicago’s Jaylon Johnson is allowing just 3.1 targets and 26.1 receiving yards per game in his coverage, and he’s yet to allow a touchdown pass while notching two interceptions. The rest of the Bears’ secondary is also elite and is allowing just 197.4 passing yards per game at the sixth-lowest completion rate (62.5%) on the season. Taking the under on Sam Darnold’s passing yards (232.5) is also worth consideration in this matchup, since opponents have run the ball at a 46.5% rate against the Bears. In a divisional matchup, Jefferson could see double-teams all afternoon as the Bears dare Darnold to look toward alternative targets.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Week 12 Player Prop (SEA vs. ARI)
Over 56.5 receiving yards: Over 56.5 (-115)
- The Cardinals’ defense has played well above expectations during Arizona’s three-game winning streak, but two of those wins came against completely dysfunctional offenses in the Bears and Jets. Is Arizona capable of slowing a Seattle passing attack that has taken off with Smith-Njigba leading the way over the past few weeks? The Ohio State product is averaging 119.7 receiving yards per game while drawing 31 targets over his last three outings. Veteran Tyler Lockett has drawn just 10 targets in that span despite seeing 100% route participation. Smith-Njigba is burning defenses down the seam, and that could be a productive look against an Arizona defense that plays a lot of zone. Most importantly, the Seahawks have been unable to run the ball and are therefore averaging the third-most pass attempts (37.5) in the NFL this season.
Xavier Worthy Week 12 Player Prop (KC @ CAR)
Over 32.5 receiving yards: Over 33 (-120)
- With an average depth of target of 12.1 yards, Worthy could break a big gain and get over this prop on just one or two catches. The rookie was involved last week in a big game at Buffalo, and the Chiefs are heavy favorites in this spot, so we could see a lighter workload for veterans Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins in a potential blowout. The Panthers’ defense played better in the team’s last two wins but remains quite beatable and is giving up the third-highest passer rating (103.9) to opposing quarterbacks. Worthy has 449 unrealized air yards while drawing 12 deep targets this season. You can consider a “ladder” on Worthy up to +195 odds to record 50-plus receiving yards.
