Best NFL Player Props For Week 15 Sunday

The NFL season is headed toward a crescendo with bye weeks in the rearview and teams now vying for playoff positioning. This Sunday features a full 13-game schedule, highlighted by a potential Super Bowl preview between the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions at 4:25 p.m. ET.

We’re picking our five best NFL Week 15 player props to consider for Sunday, with a couple of options to take on the over, under, or to consider using in a same-game parlay on your favorite sportsbook apps

Amon-Ra St. Brown Week 15 Player Prop Bet (DET vs. BUF)

Over 68.5 receiving yards: Over 70.5 (-115) on DraftKings

  • This contest between high-powered offenses features the highest line for total points (54.5) of the year thus far, and that makes the top receiving options on both sides worth a long look. St. Brown is coming off a couple of quiet games against division opponents, but he’s generally stepped up when the Lions are challenged and is averaging 75.3 receiving yards per game on the season when Detroit’s opponent scores 20-plus points. Coming off a 44-42 shootout loss at the Rams, the Bills’ offense is capable of exploiting an injury-riddled Lions defense. Defensively, Buffalo has played a high rate of zone, and St. Brown is adept at finding the gaps in zone coverage with a 26% target rate against zones this season. If the Bills play more man coverage, St. Brown is averaging the most fantasy points per route run against single coverage. He averaged 109.8 receiving yards per game against AFC opponents last season and 105.1 yards per game indoors.

Bryce Young Week 15 Player Prop Bet (CAR vs. DAL)

Over 221.5 passing + rushing yards: Over 221.5 (-115)

  • Young has turned his career around since he returned to action five weeks ago, leading the Panthers to a couple of wins and three close losses. In his last four starts, he’s averaging 219.5 passing yards per game while adding 24 rushing yards per game on 3.8 carries. In two home games during that span, Young averaged 280.5 passing yards on 40.5 attempts against the Chiefs and Bucs. The Cowboys have allowed the second-most rushing yards (415) to quarterbacks on the season and just lost their best tackling linebacker, DeMarvion Overshown (ACL), for the season. Linebackers Eric Kendricks (knee) and Nick Vigil (foot) are questionable, along with cornerbacks Trevon Diggs (knee) and Jourdan Lewis (hamstring) as Dallas prepares to play on the road on a short week after its slim chances at a playoff berth were dashed this past Monday night.

Alvin Kamara Week 15 Player Prop Bet (NO vs. WAS)

Under 105.5 rushing + receiving yards: Under 105.5 (-115) on BetMGM

  • This number is extremely high because Kamara is expected to see an elevated workload on a Saints offense that is ravaged by injuries. Yet it’s possible the Saints will be unable to move the ball consistently against a solid Washington defense with Jake Haener at quarterback. Defenses have keyed in on Kamara lately, and he only managed 44 rushing yards on 17 carries against a woeful Giants defense last week with Taysom Hill (ACL) unavailable to keep the G-Men honest. Washington has allowed the fewest receptions (38) to running backs this season and held the Titans to just 3.2 yards per carry before a Week 14 bye. Kamara is also dealing with an illness that has kept him out of practice this week, and Kendre Miller returned from a five-game absence to log 26% of running back snaps for the Saints last week.

Xavier Worthy Week 15 Player Prop Bet (KC @ CLE)

Over 38.5 receiving yards: Over 38.5 (-110) on BetMGM

  • Weather could be a factor in Cleveland with 15 MPH winds and rain in the forecast, yet we can still trust Patrick Mahomes to complete a few balls down the field. Worthy enters a great matchup against a Browns defense that employs man coverage at the third-highest rate in the NFL, which should funnel targets away from veterans Travis Kelce and Deandre Hopkins. Worthy is averaging 1.5 yards per route run against man coverage, and he’s averaging 33 routes over his last three outings. He posted 41 receiving yards in Week 14 against Tarheeb Still, who is one of the top-rated corners in the league this year. Now he’ll face Browns cornerback Greg Newsome, who is allowing 15.3 yards per reception (93rd among qualifiers) on a Browns secondary that’s given up the second-most pass plays of 20-plus yards this season.

Josh Downs Week 15 Player Prop Bet (IND @ DEN)

Over 4.5 receptions: Over 4.5 (+132) on BetRivers

  • Downs is off the injury report with the Colts emerging from their bye week for a tough road test at Denver. The Broncos’ pass defense has been elite when both of its cornerbacks are healthy, but Riley Moss (knee) is doubtful to suit up, and Denver has allowed the third-most completions (28.3) with Moss hurt over its last three games. Denver is also more vulnerable against slot receivers, and Downs is generating a 31.4% target rate while running 72.6% of his routes from the slot. Downs actually leads the NFL in win rate (59.4%) on his routes, and his average target distance is just 7.4 yards. The Broncos are yielding the fourth-fewest yards per completion (9.5) this season, so the short passes should be there as Anthony Richardson tries to manage the game and avoid turnovers.
