Best Player Prop Bets For NFL Week 13

We had four NFL games on Thursday and Friday over Thanksgiving week, but the schedule is still full with zero teams on bye and 11 games scheduled on the Week 13 Sunday slate.

In this article, we highlight our five best NFL Week 13 player props to consider for Sunday, with a couple options to take on the Over, Under, or to consider using in a same-game parlay at your favorite sportsbook app

Trey McBride Week 13 Player Prop Bets (ARI @ MIN)

Over 59.5 receiving yards: Over 59.5 (-112) on BetRivers

  • The Vikings defense is stout against the run and generates a ton of pressure on quarterbacks, so we can expect the Cardinals to call some quick pass plays designed for their top target. McBride leads all tight ends in target share (28.3%) and Air Yards Share (26.7%) and he’s run routes on 80% of Kyler Murray’s dropbacks in seven straight appearances. McBride has topped 70 receiving yards in three of his last four outings, with the exception coming in an absolute blowout at home over the Bears. Murray and the Cardinals offense are much better when playing indoors, so they could find success at Minnesota against a Vikings defense that faces the highest pass-play rate (66.4%) this season.

Gus Edwards Week 13 Player Prop Bets (LAC @ ATL)

Over 46.5 rushing yards: Over 30.5 (-110) on FanDuel

  • J.K. Dobbins (knee) is not expected to suit up Sunday, leaving Edwards to carry the load in a run-heavy offense. The Chargers were forced to throw the ball more in their last two matchups against the high-scoring Bengals and Ravens, but now they face a Falcons defense that is stronger against the pass than it is against the run. Atlanta yields 132.7 rushing yards per game at home this season and has coughed up 4.6 yards per carry over three matchups against mediocre or below-average rushing attacks. The Chargers offensive line has been dominant in run blocking when tackles Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater have been in the lineup this season. While Edwards only managed 11 yards against Baltimore’s excellent run defense last week, he should be locked into early-down work in a much better matchup this Sunday.

Kenneth Walker Week 13 Prop Bets (SEA @ NYJ)

Under 61.5 rushing yards: Under 61.5 (-115)

  • Seattle’s run blocking has been dismal this season and might only see a modest boost if tackle Abraham Lucas (knee) is able to make his return in Week 13. With his line struggling, Walker is only averaging 44.3 rushing yards per game at 3.2 yards per carry over his last seven outings. The Seahawks are using him as a receiver more often in a system that is now posting the lowest rush-play rate (33.6%) in road games on the season. The Jets run defense was awful earlier in the season, but showed signs of turning it around before their Week 12 bye when they held Jonathan Taylor to 57 rushing yards at just 3.2 yards per carry. Now the Jets could get elite linebacker and signal caller C.J. Mosley (foot) back in the lineup to backbone their interior defense in a game that has a low implied total (42.5 points) and could present a poor environment for both offenses.

Xavier Legette Week 13 Prop Bets (CAR vs. TB)

Over 41.5 receiving yards: Over 56.5 (-110) on FanDuel

  • The Panthers offense has looked far better in recent weeks and Bryce Young is coming off his best game in the pros. Legette is locked into an every down role with 100% route participation in that close loss to Kansas City, and while he’s right at this prop, averaging 41 receiving yards per game in that span, he’s garnered 73.3 air yards per game and logged a catch of 23-plus yards in all of those contests. So the potential is definitely there for Legette to break out, or at least get 42-plus yards against a Bucs defense that yields the fifth-most receiving yards to receivers. The athletic rookie will match up often against 6-foot-1, 206-pound cornerback Jamel Dean, who has missed nearly half the season with a hamstring injury and struggled in man coverage when active.

Taysom Hill Week 13 Prop Bets (NO vs. LAR)

Over 62.5 rushing + receiving yards: Over 62.5 (-125) on DraftKings

  • Since Darren Rizzi has taken over as interim coach, the Saints have leaned into using Hill’s unique skill set. He burst for 138 rushing yards in Week 11 against the Browns and should be very involved as a runner, receiver, and passer after a bye week. The Rams just gave up 314 rushing yards to the Eagles and might struggle to match the physicality of Hill’s downhill running style. As a tight end, he draws a good matchup against a defense that yields the ninth-most receiving yards per game to the position. Hill was on the field for a season-high 55% of offensive snaps against the Browns and drew 10 targets in the passing game while no other Saints player saw more than four targets.
