Best NFL Wild Card Player Props For Saturday Games

The NFL playoffs kick off with a packed wild card weekend featuring games on three days. On Saturday, the Los Angeles Chargers will be at NRG Stadium to take on the Houston Texans for a 4:30 p.m. ET start, and then the Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Baltimore Ravens at 8 p.m. ET in the third matchup between those AFC North foes.

Below, we bring you our best player props for those Saturday games, with looks at the over, the under, or to consider using in a same-game parlay at your favorite sportsbook app

Jaylen Warren Wild Card Player Prop Bet (PIT @ BAL)

Over 31.5 rushing yards: Over -110

  • If the Steelers fall behind in this rematch, they could feature Warren even more than Najee Harris, since he’s a superior option in the passing game. Warren has supplanted Harris in the lead role regardless, and he handled 23 touches on 60% of offensive snaps on Christmas Day when the game was still competitive at Kansas City. Warren carried 12 times for 48 yards and added 44 receiving yards when these teams met the week prior, and his prop for rush attempts has a line of just 8.5 carries. Warren has earned the bump in playing time over Harris by averaging 4.22 yards created per touch. The Steelers have the fifth-highest rush-play rate (51%) in road games this season and will likely try to bleed the clock to keep Baltimore’s offense on the sidelines.

Isaiah Likely Wild Card Player Prop Bet (BAL vs PIT)

Over 27.5 receiving yards: Over -118 on BetRivers

  • Zay Flowers (knee) is unlikely to play this Saturday, and that would force Lamar Jackson to look toward some of his other preferred targets. Likely has stepped up in big games all season and found openings when Jackson starts to scramble. He’s averaging 45 yards per game and 15 yards per catch over his last three outings against a Steelers defense that plays a lot of single-high, man coverage, leaving them open to receiving tight ends. Pittsburgh has given up the second-most receptions to the position, including eight catches to both Mike Gesicki and Travis Kelce in recent weeks.

J.K. Dobbins Wild Card Player Prop Bet (LAC @ HOU)

Under 61.5 rushing yards: Under -110 on Bet365

  • Gus Edwards (ankle) has been cleared for this game, and that gives the Chargers another option after Dobbins handled 40 touches while playing on 61% of offensive snaps in two wins to close the season. Now he faces a big step up in competition against a Texans defense that ranks sixth in rush EPA on first and second downs. Dobbins is averaging a modest 4.4 yards per carry on the road this season and has largely depended on explosive run plays to break 60 rushing yards. The Texans have allowed the ninth-fewest first downs via the run while holding opponents to 4.3 yards per carry.

Will Anderson Jr. Wild Card Player Prop Bet (HOU vs LAC)

Over 0.25 sacks: Over -120 on DraftKings

  • The Texans have a ferocious pass rush led by Anderson and Danielle Hunter. They’ve produced the second-highest sack rate (9.6%) in home games, and the Chargers are yielding the seventh-highest sack rate (9.1%) in road games. Justin Herbert wasn’t under much pressure in cupcake matchups at the Raiders and Patriots to end the season, but he took 20 sacks over his previous five road starts. Anderson has tallied 4.5 sacks over his last four home starts, including one against the elusive Lamar Jackson and one against Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ quick-hitting pass attack.
