Jahmyr Gibbs Week 13 Anytime Touchdown (DET vs. CHI)
- David Montgomery suffered a shoulder injury in a Week 12 win at Indianapolis and has missed practice early in the week. While the bigger back should be active on Thanksgiving, it’s fair to expect an uptick in snaps and carries for Jahmyr Gibbs. The younger and more explosive member of Detroit’s backfield had already been eating into Montgomery’s workload with 48 snaps in Week 12. Gibbs is averaging 110 scrimmage yards per game on 57 touches over his last three outings, and he’s scored in five of his last six games. The Bears defense is far more vulnerable against the rush than it is against the pass, and Detroit’s offensive line has been dominant all year, leading to the second-most rushing touchdowns (1.9) per game and the fourth-highest touchdown conversion rate (68.9%) in the red zone.
Josh Jacobs Week 13 Anytime Touchdown (GB vs. MIA)
- After scoring thrice against the shorthanded 49ers in Week 12, Jacobs could certainly find the end zone against a Dolphins defense that has also lost key bodies up front. Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips are out, and the Dolphins lost linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. (hamstring) in Week 12. The Dolphins have faced a relatively soft schedule over their last three wins, but previously they gave up 58 total points and three rushing touchdowns in losses to Arizona and Buffalo. Jacobs has grabbed hold of a workhorse role for the Packers, logging 80% of offensive snaps in a close game in Week 11 before sitting down the stretch of last Sunday’s blowout. He’s handled 11 red zone touches over the past two weeks, and Green Bay could end up leaning on him in a cold weather game against a Dolphins defense that is stronger against the pass than it is against the run.
CeeDee Lamb Week 13 Anytime Touchdown (DAL vs. NYG)
- In previous seasons, New York’s defense might be fired up to contain the Cowboys’ top receiver, but the team appeared to quit last week following the demotion and release of Daniel Jones in a shameless cost-saving move by the franchise. If the Giants continue to showcase a dip in effort on Thanksgiving, Lamb could have a big day to follow up on his 10-catch performance at Washington in Week 12. Cooper Rush has targeted Lamb 34 times in his three starts, including four looks in the red zone. While Lamb hasn’t found the end zone yet with his interim quarterback under center, Rush continues to look more comfortable, and he could find success against a New York defense that is yielding the third-highest completion rate (70.8%) this season and that coughed up 30 points to the Bucs last week.
Noah Gray Week 13 Anytime Touchdown (KC vs. LV)
- Gray scored twice in Week 12 at Carolina, and while it might seem like fishing to bet on another touchdown, he also drew two red zone targets and caught two touchdowns in Week 11 against the Bills. Opposing defenses are focusing on Travis Kelce in the red zone. The Raiders have extra familiarity with the Chiefs’ top tight end and have kept Kelce out of the end zone in three of their last four matchups. But the Raiders have given up seven touchdowns to tight ends over 11 games this season and are allowing the third-most points per play (0.459) on the season. The Chiefs could be fired up for this Black Friday game after losing to the Raiders on Christmas Day last season, so we might see the champs continue to pass even if the score is lopsided.
