Bet365 Launches In Iowa, Becoming 19th Sportsbook In The Hawkeye State

Bet365 Sportsbook has officially launched in Iowa, joining some of the top sports betting operators in the state. The mobile betting app is now available in five different U.S. states, as well as plenty of international countries.
A partnership with Casino Queen Marquette made the launch of Bet365 Sportsbook Online available. The online betting app joins the Iowa sports betting market, which recently grew to $6 billion in total handle.
Bet365 Online Sportsbook Rolls Out In Iowa
The state of Iowa now has another mobile sports betting app, as Bet365 Sportsbook has just launched in the area. With the launch, Bet365 is the 19th mobile sportsbook available in Iowa, joining big names like DraftKings Sportsbook, BetMGM Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook Iowa, BetRivers Sportsbook, and FanDuel Sportsbook.
Now, Bet365 Sportsbook Online is available in five different states across the U.S.: Iowa, Colorado, Ohio, New Jersey, and Virginia. The online betting app is available in plenty of areas around the world, such as the United Kingdom, Ontario, Italy, Spain, Japan, and Germany.
The launch of Bet365 Sportsbook comes courtesy of a partnership with Casino Queen Marquette. The popular riverboat casino in Marquette, Iowa already has its own retail sportsbook, the Queen Sportsbook.
It will be interesting to see if the casino’s retail sports betting spot is rebranded to a Bet365 Sportsbook following the partnership. Outside of sports betting, Casino Queen Marquette also has over 400 machines, numerous table game options, and a handful of dining experiences to choose from.

Bet365 Sportsbook Has Partnerships With Two Professional Teams
The expansion into Iowa is just the latest move by Bet365 Sportsbook in the growingly competitive sports betting market. In early April, the mobile betting app finalized a partnership with the Colorado Rockies. The partnership has resulted into advertisements throughout the Rockies’ home stadium at Coors Field.
Bet365 Sportsbook also has a partnership with the San Antonio Spurs, which is interesting considering that online sports betting isn’t available in the state of Texas. When the deal was made in 2021, Bet365 collaborated with the Spurs on a free-to-play experience to give fans the opportunity at different prizes.

Iowa Sports Betting Market Recently Eclipsed $6 Billion in Lifetime Handle
The Iowa sports betting industry got its start in August of 2019, when mobile sports betting and retail sports betting both went live in the Hawkeye State. The handle began to grow in the early months of sports betting, with November of 2019 being a highlight with $59.3 million in total handle.
Those numbers have continued to grow over time, with April 2023 seeing a total handle of $172.5 million. This brought the overall handle for Iowa sports betting to $6.02 billion. Total revenue since the initial launch is now over $414 million, while $27.9 million in taxes have been collected.
In addition to the many online sports betting apps to choose from, Iowa bettors also have access to retail sportsbooks such as the Caesars Sportsbook at Horseshoe Casino, the Hard Rock Sportsbook at the Hard Rock Sioux city, and the DraftKings Sportsbook at Wild Rose Clinton.
