NHL and BetMGM AnnouncePartnership Extension
It’s just been announced that leading betting operator BetMGM and the NHL have forged a multi-year partnership. This deal will continue the relationship between the two entities, with BetMGM acting as the Official Sports Betting and Gaming Partner of the league. The betting operator will also be showcased on national broadcasts of games. This includes signage for regular season games and Stanley Cup Playoff matchups.
According to Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM: “Our partnership extension with the NHL enables us to enhance the BetMGM product and offer fans unforgettable entertainment built around the game they love. The NHL is more thrilling than ever – a symphony of athleticism, teamwork, and skill on skates. We look forward to bringing our customers exceptional live experiences and new content.”
The announcement comes at a time when BetMGM Sportsbook is preparing to launch into new betting markets in the U.S. in 2024, with Vermont and Nort Carolina both preparing to allow mobile sports betting.
NHL Vice President of Business Development Jason Jazayeri expressed further excitement over the ongoing partnership, saying “We are thrilled about our partnership extension with BetMGM. The evolution of our partnership with BetMGM will focus on building unique and compelling fan experiences, as well as event activation and media programming all with an eye towards delivering exciting new ways for our fans to interact and engage with the sport they love.”
