Biggest NFL Line Movement For Week 15 Games

With the final byes in the books, the NFL Week 15 schedule will feature all 32 teams. The week will open with the Los Angeles Rams at the San Francisco 49ers, continue with 13 games on Sunday, and conclude with a Monday Night Football doubleheader featuring the Chicago Bears at the Minnesota Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons at the Las Vegas Raiders.

We’re looking at the biggest shifts in NFL Week 15 lines on the point spread, moneyline, and total relative to the look-ahead lines for these games posted ahead of Week 14 action. These shifts occur due to results, injuries, and market movement, and the differences in line movement can help you find value when considering Week 15 bets at online sportsbooks

NFL Week 15 Line Movement

Washington Commanders at New Orleans Saints: Washington Commanders -7.5 (-112) on BetRivers

  • This is the biggest point spread shift of the week, with the Commanders jumping from field goal favorites to north of a touchdown at most books since Derek Carr (hand) is out indefinitely. The Saints will likely turn to Jake Haener or Spencer Rattler, a combination that contributed to three blowout losses during New Orleans’ seven-game losing streak before the organization fired head coach Dennis Allen. There has been a big dip in the over/under line as a result of the Saints’ lowered expectations on offense, with the number dropping from 49 to 43 points at online sportsbooks. Washington is coming off a bye week for this matchup and should have a healthier backfield with Austin Ekeler (concussion) and Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) potentially ready to return.

Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants: Baltimore Ravens -16.5 (-109) on BetRivers

  • The Ravens were already around 13-point favorites ahead of this matchup, and now they’re giving 14.5 points at most books as they prepare to face the Giants out of a Week 14 bye. Drew Lock, meanwhile, failed to complete his first eight passes for the G-Men and just barely scraped together one scoring drive to cover a five-point spread against the Saints in Week 14. The Giants have lost elite defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (elbow) for the season, and his absence should be quite notable against Derrick Henry and the Ravens’ rushing attack.

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans: Cincinnati Bengals -5.5 (-114) on FanDuel

  • While the Bengals have yet to play in Dallas on Monday night and will be on a short week on the road, the market is downgrading the Titans enough to move this spread from 3.5 to 5.5 points in favor of Cincinnati. The Titans, coming off a 10-6 home loss to the shorthanded Jaguars, are now 2-11 against the spread this season while averaging the second-most giveaways (1.8) per game. Will Levis was playing relatively well for the Titans over the past few weeks, but he suffered an apparent shoulder injury in the second half against Jacksonville.

Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos: Denver Broncos -4.5 (-109) on BetRivers

  • Both of these teams are coming off a bye in Week 14, yet the market has decided that the Broncos should be bigger home favorites in a Sunday afternoon game. Denver has shifted from favorites of 3.5 to 4.5 points across the online sports betting industry. The Broncos are 10-3 against the spread this season and have won three straight games. Meanwhile, the Colts have a pair of two-point wins under their belts since Anthony Richardson returned to a starting role, but the team is just 1-4 against the spread over its last five games.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers: San Francisco 49ers +4.5 (-105) on BetRivers

  • This line has moved off the key number of three points, with the 49ers becoming two-point favorites ahead of a Thursday Night Football matchup with vital NFC West implications. The Niners had already lost two of their top running backs earlier and walloped the Bears in Week 14 without Trent Williams (ankle) or Nick Bosa (oblique), but third-string back Isaac Guerendo (foot) suffered what appears to be a minor injury toward the end of that win. The Rams are coming off a prolific offensive performance in which Matthew Stafford posted a 132.6 passer rating in a 44-42 shootout win over the Bills. The total is up from 47 to 48.5 or 49 points, depending on the book, ahead of this game.

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings: Minnesota Vikings -7 (-108) on BetRivers

  • Speaking of the Bears, they came crashing to earth in Week 14 after firing head coach Matt Eberflus. Thomas Moore seemed to resurrect their dormant offense in a two-game span as offensive coordinator, but the interim head coach was thoroughly out-foxed by Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco. Now the Bears have moved from six-point dogs to 6.5 or seven points at most books, with the Vikings looking to pounce on a vulnerable situation.

Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions: Detroit Lions -2.5 (-110) on BetRivers

  • This is the marquee matchup this Sunday, with both teams looking capable of reaching the Super Bowl. The spread is relatively consistent, with Detroit favored by just under a field goal at home, but the total is on the move from 50.5 to 53.5 points at online sportsbooks. Detroit is dealing with multiple injuries on the defensive side of the ball, and Buffalo just got into a shootout with the Rams on the fast track at SoFi Stadium

Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles: Philadelphia Eagles -5.5 (-110) on BetRivers

  • The total is moving in the opposite direction for another premier Week 15 matchup. The Steelers are 4.5 or five-point underdogs at Philadelphia, and the game total has dropped from 45.5 to 43.5 points. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles have struggled to move the ball through the air, and the Steelers’ offense was stuck in the mud during the first half against the Browns in Week 14 with top receiver George Pickens (hamstring) inactive.
