Bills Vs. Rams (9/8/22) Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay Strategy

The NFL is back on Thursday night, and we’re attacking the game between the Bills and Rams from all sorts of angles. Same Game Parlays are constantly growing in popularity across different sportsbooks, and we love the options that these types of wagers provide for boosting profitability on any given game.

Most sportsbooks offer some kind of Same Game Parlay betting options, but FanDuel Sportsbook is seen as the “OG SGP” platform among sportsbooks. I’ll be using their platform for these weekly articles, but feel free to shop around for different options. Let’s take a look at some SGP options for the Thursday Night Football game.

Bills Vs. Rams Same Game Parlay Strategy

I believe the Rams are being undervalued in the market as home underdogs, and I’m backing the defending champions to win this game. You can check out further analysis on that pick in my matchup preview. I’m starting my SGP off with the Rams’ Moneyline at +102 on FanDuel.

Next, I’m looking to Allen Robinson to start his Rams’ career off strong. The Bills are without Tre’Davious White in this game, their All Pro boundary corner, and the bulk of their defensive attention will likely be on slowing down Cooper Kupp. That will leave Robinson with some one-on-one opportunities.

Robinson’s connection with Matthew Stafford has been the talk of Rams’ training camp, and I expect it to show up on the field as soon as this week. Robinson is +155 to score a touchdown on FanDuel and his receiving yardage prop is set at 62.5 yards. I’ll combine those with an alternate line on Matthew Stafford’s passing yards at over 250.5 to round out the SGP.

Full Same Game Parlay on FanDuel:

  • Los Angeles Rams ML: +108
  • Allen Robinson Over 62.5 Receiving Yards: -114
  • Allen Robinson Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +155
  • Matthew Stafford 250+ Passing Yards: -192
  • Full SGP Odds: +762

NFL Week 1 Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay Bankroll Builder

In these weekly columns, I’m also planning on offering a bankroll builder option for Same Game Parlays. Essentially, the strategy here is to combine props with low odds to get back to an even money we can have a lot of confidence in. With plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, this is a good game in which to utilize this strategy.

Let’s attack the star quarterbacks and their top passing options for this bankroll builder. First, I’m adding Matthew Stafford at 200+ passing yards and Josh Allen at 225+ passing yards. Stafford went over 200 yards in 20 of his 21 games last year and Allen went over 225 yards in 14 of his 19 games. Those two alone get us to -261, so we’re halfway there.

Next, I’m looking to add in the top pass-catcher for each quarterback due to the strong correlative aspect. I’m adding Cooper Kupp 60+ receiving yards at -490 odds – he went over that number in all 21 of his games last year. Stefon Diggs rounds out our bankroll builder with 50+ yards at -330 odds. He went over that number in 15 of 19 games last season.

Put that all together, and we reach our goal of even money at +100. To recap, these are the selections:

Full Bankroll Builder on FanDuel:

    • Matthew Stafford 200+ Passing Yards: -900
    • Josh Allen 225+ Passing Yards: -470
    • Cooper Kupp 60+ Receiving Yards: -490
    • Stefon Diggs 50+ Receiving Yards: -330
    • Full SGP Odds: +100
