The partnership between FanDuel and the Buffalo Bills will include a wide range of activations to leverage the two powerful brands. FanDuel will be able to use the Bills’ marks and logos for advertising purposes, and the sportsbook will also gain access to the team’s TV and radio spots. FanDuel will also be able to advertise via signage and activations at Highmark Stadium and will explore a range of creative ways to engage the team’s fans.
FanDuel is also expected to be the presenting sponsor of the Bills’ team podcast, Bills by the Numbers, hosted by Steve Tasker and Chris Brown. The podcast includes discussion of team news, player matchups, and fantasy football, and it is expected to add a betting angle with the inclusion of FanDuel as a sponsor. The sportsbook will gain a valuable audience in the New York market through this popular podcast.
Other FanDuel Partnerships
In addition to the new contract with the Bills, FanDuel has an existing partnership with the NFL as one of its official sports betting partners. FanDuel has access to NFL trademark material for its advertising purposes and can also leverage the partnership with unique fan engagement programs through NFL games. FanDuel is also partnered with Genius Sports, a technology company that provides official, exclusive league data to the sportsbook. FanDuel’s first partnership with an NFL team was with the Denver Broncos, which was agreed upon in June 2020.
