Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets Player Props (11/14/21)

The Buffalo Bills were a hot pick for Super Bowl winners heading into the season and, for the most part, have lived up to it. However, they’ve had some bizarre losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, and Jacksonville jaguars that have some bettors concerned. The New York Jets have had a similarly strange couple of weeks, sandwiching double-digit losses with a major upset over the Cincinnati Bengals. When the AFC rival Bills and Jets face off this Sunday, here are some player props to keep an eye on.

Mike White Under 235.5 Passing Yards

Mike White Mania hit the nation a few weeks back when the young passer stepped in and led the league in passing for a week. Well, let’s temper our expectations a bit. White’s coming off a forearm injury from his Thursday Night Football matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, and he doesn’t have a favorable matchup this week. The Buffalo Bills are currently fielding the number one pass defense in the league. The Bills are allowing just 177 yards per game this year, and I don’t expect an inexperienced quarterback to step in and change that. Avoid the hype and take the under.

Josh Allen Over 2.5 Passing TDs +155

Some bettors have cooled off on Josh Allen after that abysmal performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars. And for good reason, as the MVP hopeful tossed two picks and couldn’t get a drive going against one of the worst teams in the league. However, this is a great bounceback spot for Allen. The Jets are ranked 30th against the pass, allowing 274.9 yards per game. Do you really think Allen will struggle against another underperforming defense? He’s had three games with three or more scores, and I think he’ll cruise to multiple TDs this week. The prop is currently +155 on DraftKings.

Michael Carter Over 72.5 Rush + Receiving Yards

I’m a big fan of Jets RB Michael Carter. He’s developing into a Swiss Army Knife of a player, as he’s shown in the past three weeks he can be productive on the ground or through the air. His crowning performance was during the big upset of the Bengals, in which Carter amassed 172 total yards. He seems to have a better connection with Mike White than Zach Wilson, so I’m going with Carter to go over his yardage total this week.

Zack Moss First TD Scorer

Remember when Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor ripped the New York Jets defense to shreds on Thursday Night Football? Well, I’m not guaranteeing that Zack Moss will do the same, but I do expect him to get some touches, especially if Buffalo gets an early lead. I’d take a look at Moss to score the first touchdown, which is currently +900 on DraftKings. Moss hasn’t been a scoring machine, as he’s only found the end zone four times this year. Still, against a weak Jets defense, he could easily take a big run to the end zone early in this matchup.
