Bundesliga Odds 2022-23: Title Odds, Golden Boot, Relegation, & Top Four
Contents
Bundesliga odds show no signs of hope for those who want to see Bayern Munich’s dominance end. They are -2000 to win the Bundesliga for the 32nd time and 11th time in a row. The next closest for Bundesliga title odds are Dortmund at and RB Leipzig at .
Bundesliga Title Odds
Bayern Munich (-2000) – Club Legend and one of the world’s best strikers, Robert Lewandowski, left for Barcelona this Summer, but they brought in Sadio Mane on a terrific deal to play up front names like Muller, Sane, and Coman. Bayern strengthened their backline with De Ligt and Upamecano in recent years, and their midfield duo of Kimmich and Sabitzer is a driving force for their potential beyond the Bundesliga this season. As massive favorites already, the Bundesliga feels like an afterthought for Bayern as they will surely focus on Champions League success.
Dortmund () – This is the recipe for Dortmund and their supporters are used to it. Another massive talent was sold to an elite club and they will look to quickly replace it with young talent. Dortmund is a mix of veteran players and young names who have been linked with other clubs. Jude Bellingham continues to be linked back to his home country of England, where Liverpool has been strongly rumored for a transfer. The defense, while improved, will be the main reason why they won’t make the title race a close one and the departure of Haaland will be felt as well. It is rebuilding time for Dortmund, which they often do so well. Already starting with Sebastien Haller from Ajax, but will miss a lengthy part of the season.
RB Leipzig () – Since the Nagelsmann departure, RB Leipzig has been an inconsistent club, yet they haven’t stretched anywhere far from the top four and Champions League football. They spent on David Raum and brought back Timo Werner, which should help them secure a strong finish. The issue continues to be these clubs are nowhere near the talent of Bayern.
Bayer Leverkusen () – A very intriguing club to watch this year is Bayer Leverkusen. They retained their key talent and also brought in Adam Hlozek. Health will be a key factor in making the top four. A slow start has already shifted those odds but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get back into form and be a competitive team within the top four chances.
Borussia Monchengladbach () – After finishing the season 10th the expectations were a mid-table finish but the Bundesliga has gotten significantly weaker across the league. There is a chance for Gladbach to take advantage and really move into the top third of the league this season. The change to Daniel Farke will give them a more possession-based style of play, which is the opposite of prior years.
Bundesliga Relegation Odds
FC Augsburg has been flirting with relegation and finished 14th last year. Scoring was an issue and they were in the bottom third defensively. At to be relegated you can get some decent value on them now. Bochum was a surprising team last year giving teams trouble throughout the year. With all the departures and very little replacements, it is no surprise to see them as favorites to go down at
Bundesliga Top Four Odds
With Dortmund and Leipzig favorites to finish within the top-four, things could still get interesting if they don’t have consistent form. Bayer Leverkusen () and Gladbach () sit in a good spot to take hold of fourth-place. Frankfurt had great European success last season and teams like Hoffenheim and Freiburg should be hovering around European spots as well.
Bundesliga Golden Boot Odds
With no more Lewandowski and Haaland, the path to the Bundesliga Golden Boot got a bit clearer. Much like Bayern’s run of titles, Lewandowski had won the award five straight seasons and eight total dating back to 2010. His replacement, Sadio Mane, has taken over as the lead player in odds at . While Bayern will rack up plenty of goals, longer shots like Nkunku () are worth a look given the odds.
