Caesars Ohio Super Bowl LVII Best Bet

A.J. Brown Longest Reception Over 26.5 Yards (-117)

A.J. Brown is one of the best downfield receivers in the NFL, and his field-stretching ability has been crucial to the Eagles’ elite offense this season. Before the playoffs, Brown had gone over this prop in six straight games to close out the regular season. He wasn’t just barely going over, either – he had a 40+ yard reception in four of those six games.

Brown ranked seventh in the NFL with 16.3 yards per reception and was tied for fourth with 32 deep targets (20+ yards downfield). PFF also had him tied for the best receiving grade in the NFL on those deep targets. Brown ranked fourth among all qualified receivers with an average of 17.0 yards per reception this season.

The Chiefs have a league average defense against deep passes per Football Outsiders, but they’ve allowed a reception of 26+ yards in 17 of their 19 games this season. Jalen Hurts will need to pass throughout this game in much more of a neutral or even negative game script than he’s used to, and he’ll be slinging it deep. He and Brown haven’t connected deep the last couple of games, but they do in the Super Bowl.
