Caesars Racebook Android App Drops Before Breeder’s Cup

Caesars Sportsbook square logoWhile horse racing has plenty of competition in the betting world with iGaming and standard sports betting, it has still remained popular with the ease of online wagering. Interestingly, not every big operator in sports betting and online casinos offers a horse racing betting option. While DraftKings offers a robust online sportsbook as well as an iGaming platform, you can only engage with horse racing through the platform’s free-to-play pools.

However, there are still plenty of pother major players in the mobile horse racing game, such as TwinSpires, BetAmerica, and FanDuel Racing. The Caesars Entertainment horse racing platform Caesars Racebook has also become a big player in the competitive online horse racing game, as seen with its recent developments ahead of one of the biggest horse races of the year. Here’s what to expect from the new Caesars Racebook app as well as some information on the upcoming 2022 Breeder’s Cup.

Caesars Racebook Now Available On Android Devices & Desktop

Earlier this year, NYRA Bets and Caesars Sportsbook teamed up on the rollout of Caesars Racebook. The horse racing app features over 250 race tracks from across the world and integrates Caesars Rewards. While Caesars Racebook had been previously available on iOS devices, it was still not available for desktop computers or Android devices. However, with just a few days until the start of the Breeder’s Cup, that’s all changed.

You can now download the Caesars Racebook mobile app on Android smartphones and tablets and access the platform from the desktop site. However, if you’re not located in a state where Caesars Racebook has launched, you won’t be able to place wagers on the app or website. According to Thoroughbread Daily News, the online horse racing app is currently available in Oregon, Indiana, Kentucky, Montana, North Dakota, Florida, and Ohio. You can expect Caesars Racebook to continue to expand across the U.S. into new markets as more major events begin.

When Is The Breeder’s Cup?

The launch of the Android mobile app for Caesars Racebook comes at an ideal time with the impending Breeder’s Cup event. The Cup will take place from November 4th to November 5th with 14 different races taking place, all starting with the first race at 11:55 EST on Friday. The big favorite for the event is Flightline, an undefeated competitor with over $1 million in earnings throughout a short career. Rich Strike, the horse that just won the Kentucky Derby in May as an 80-1 underdog, will also be present at the Breeder’s Cup this year.

Other horses that just raced in the Kentucky Derby a few months ago will be back for the Breeder’s Cup as well, such as Taiba, Cyberknife, Zandon, Hot Rod Charlie, and Epicenter. There are plenty of betting options throughout the weekend, so you’ll want to look at some of the shifting odds before that start of the Cup. With the Breeder’s Cup being the last major racing event of the year, horse racing fans will have more options now thanks to the expanding Caesars Racebook platform.
